Brooks/Moses

JT made it quite clear on Triple M they are working on getting Moses in the game now and that up until this point he had been playing as instructed for the team.

Thanks for posting that F one.

Following conversation with a couple of players and a staff member at the first dogs game, I posted on the let's put the boot into Moses thread that he in particular was being shackled and doing exactly what the coaching staff were asking of him. Unsurprisingly though, derided by some on here for claiming the youngsters were being kept on a short leash, despite getting it from the horses mouth, so to speak.

Moses put a couple neat little kicks in behind the line tonight, and then set up Richards try. Definitely a step from what he's showed so far this yr. Probably his best game so far.

Would have to agree with that.
Certainly an improvement, hope it continues

Refer to the thread" Let go of the leash JT"..it seems JT is slowly letting the young ones play what's infront of the and the results are quite stunning..well done JT.

It was most pleasing to see Brooks and Moses playing both sides of the field. I believe Brooks has had a huge amount of pressure put on him due to Moses being quiet resulting in the defense rushing Brooks. Now they are mixing up their channels and as a result Brooks had a lot more time to ball play. Very pleasing to see Moses getting more involved for both him and Brooks.

Now with defense concentrating on these two fellas it should also open things up for Farah on occasions as well. Mouth watering proposition.

Early on Brooks took on the line and got tackled. Wasn't much of a play but I was really excited by it. Then later he scored that try close to the line.

Good to see him running a little more, can only improve his game. Perhaps it's nothing or maybe further development. Good game!

It makes a difference to how the halves play if the forwards stand up.

They stood up last night and so the halves have more time to organise.

If the forwards don't stand up you end up with a Canberra result.

Not rocket science.
