He really should have pulled up and not scored.

He’s just not a very intelligent person which is crazy that he’s been our halfback for so long. It’ll never change, by all reports he’s a terrific guy so it’s unfortunate.

There’s a lot of front rowers etc who aren’t the smartest human beings out there, but he’s never been even remotely well spoken or profound, not just on the field but off it; and it definitely translates.

The club has hesitated for a long time to include him in a lot of their promotional material that involves reading off a script for obvious reasons.

On that short drop out did anyone else think that Aitken took possession of the ball before it it coss the 20 replays seemed to indicate this was the case wasn't much in it surprised the video ref didn't take a close look.

Why surprised? We aren't the Storm, Panthers, Roosters or Souffs.

Doesn’t matter, we did not deserve to win.

We should have been leading 30-0 at half time with the amount of players they had out..

No we didn't deserve to win, but we also had plenty out. But nobody mentions that - like ever.

The Warriors couldn't even name a 21 man squad they were missing so many players, we had near 70% possession in the first half and couldn't put the game out of reach, that is one poor excuse you are trying to offer up there

I’ve only seen it once during the live game and trying to cook bbq at the same time, but didn’t Brooks have clenched fists? If that ball had cannoned off him going into touch would the result have been the same?

Just saying we had a lot out too. Not saying we weren't awful. But we had plenty out. You can't change facts.

Why would you attempt a short drop out to the side of the field that leaks most of our tries.
We can’t defend our right side when our guys are awake let alone when there half asleep on a short drop out.

I think AD made that call as he was on the wing and it was aimed at him.

I don't know if Brooks was aware that it glanced his arm. Imagine he pulls up short, we don't score, and it never hits him on the arm.

Rats and fiddlesticks Cochise.
How often do we see things that should be pulled up but aren't.
Lots of times.
Brooks did exactly the right thing to keep going.

It hit him in the arm, it was always going to get pulled up.

AT real time speed that ball bounced up off his leg grazed his upper arm around his bicep- it happened pretty fast in the heat of defending against a try. I can't blame him for picking it up and bolting away. I thought it was unlucky that the ball touched him in that way - but you come to expect these freak incidents as a Tigers fan.
Just as an aside - how about Cronk having a shot at him over this and making out like "the Brooks knock-on" cost them the winning try. Cronk is such a tool honestly!

The idea he should have had the frame of mind to get tackled is ludicrous.

He should have thought over the shithouse drop-out attempt that led to a try though.
