Brown & Daniella Waste of Time? Yes? No?

They will have value if injuries come up. But I cant see them being regulars in 1st grade for the positions they play. They will get opportunities in the trials to show their best and push for a position but I would think others would be selected ahead of them when the competition rounds start.

Both These guys are young and on nix.

Hopefully desperate to prove themselves,

Both good bang for your buck signings if the get on the park.

How about we wait & see how they are used & see how they go first…

WE already know how they go, their average players who couldn't get a run at their own clubs..We currently have 2 unsigned centres who play for the west magpies, one is Rhys Pritchard ,who was the leading try scorer for west and 3rd overall in the state cup comp, played centre for the NSW Residents this year, also was 18th man in the last 2 tigers games, and the other is Josh Davis who is a block busting centre who is as strong as an ox, very strong in attack and defence, and ran all over Daniella in a game earlier this year..surely these two guys should have been signed before Brown and Daniella.. PS; i know the doggies are sniffing… :astonished:

I agree, I'd prefer to give Pritchard and Davis a run over Daniela and Brown, but they're not the worst players in the world to be signed, and I'm sure both players would agree that they have been signed for depth with a view to be used in the event of injuries. It would be nice to see both players kick on at the Tigers but they've got their work cut out based on what I've seen of them so far.

I agree with you guys Davis and pritchard ahead of these guys. However brown did show good try scoring abiity in a sharks side that was getting hammered each week with little creativity.as a 21 year old former australian schoolboy he could be a smokey on the up.Davis ran all over daniela in a game this year scoring three tries and making daniela look like a speedhump but sheens wont play him.

Brown over Daniella.Maybe both could be good bench players and their game quality may improve in a class backline as is WT.I would have kept Collis for another season.Coach Sheens knows best and what is affordable under the salary cap…........

Daniella i have only seen play a few games so wont make a call on him…But Brown is another story he has so much talent but lazy could play for city this year or next big strong and he is fast just his size makes him look he is not going that fast but he can travel ..But had a fall with the coach is what i have heard ...Very good buy if he pulls his finger out and can also play second row so Sheens must like that :brick:

cant wait to see brown now actually
once i found out that he almost ways 100k i got thinking that he could do some actual damage once sheens is done with him

We had a play at Mitch Brown before he signed his last contract with Sharks. Obviously he has been on the radar for a while and they see something in him.

I can honestly say I've never seen another player regather their own drop-kick grubber to score, so that is something positive about him.

he is also the only one that scored in the games the sharks lost in

cause we where nice enough to give them Morris and Collis…..

i am really look forward to this year cause we have a few outside with potential to be good
check out how deep out backs are

winger-Tuiaki - Ryan - Daniela
Centre-Lawrence - Brown - Davis
centre-Ayshford - Akeripa
Winger-Tupou - Roqica - Fitzhenry

if injuries hit in the back we will be fine,i actually wonder if tigers plan on playing someone from that list at fullback
dunno who though
Tuqiri could be added to the wing as well,i dont think hes capable of fullback

Both are decent signings with Brown more likey to play 1st grade.
I would however love to see Josh Davis get a run. I see he is training full time with the squad over the summer so now is the time to impress.
