i'd prefer fifita at fullback. And if we are short of front rowers - i.e payne, galea, then he could slot into prop on the odd occasion.

Hahaha ^^

To answer your question:
The Sharks have $$ & Mitch Brown has talent.
They need wingers & centres so put 2 and 2 together.

STUPID THREAD!

Cronulla Sharks should be renamed Cronulla Tigers

Next year they will have 6 ex Wests Tigers players.

Mitch Brown
Andrew Fifita
Bryce Gibbs
Dean Collis
John Morris
Issac De Gois

we can't keep him moltzen will be first choice fullback next year if sheens has any brains

Mitch is actually Cronulla junior mate. He's technically going back home if this eventuates.

Stu Flanagan is off contract at the end of this year I believe. I don't think I've heard of him resigning with Cronulla yet.

Whats is with Cronulla and there hookers, John Morris, Paul Aiton, Isaac De Gois, Stuart Flanagan and probably some others there as well.

Tell me one good thing Brown did against the Warriors? I can come up with atleast 3 simple errors.

I dont understand the love affair with Brown. He's done nothing all season and this has been his best chance to cement a spot. Atleast we've seen some touches of brilliance from Moltzen in the past.

He always mentioned as a good backup, but I've been more impressed with Daniella, Simona and Latu in their few offerings.

Pretty sure players are entitled to a bad game or two. Some have been pretty ordinary for the best part of the season.

He's been quite effective in finishing movements off and converting them to points. Also safe to say that he's done nothing when Moltzen has been inside him the majority of the time they've played on the left together and has a thicker coat of glue on his hands than some accuse Ayshford of.

I can appreciate a bad game or 2, but i can hardly recall him scoring tries less then 5 metres out where all he has to do is catch and dive over the line. He creates nothing for himself or his teammates. Sorry I know I'm on the outer but I don't rate him at all.

By the way Cultured Bogan was that you on talkin sport (under the name CB) yesterday? Heard a guy said he knows why the turn around against the warriors, "after 60 minutes they realised the game plan wasn't working so then the players played their natural games". A sly shot at Sheens, but very amusing.

I thought i'd look at a little stat comparison of our outside backs this year - although obviously stats don't mean everything

Brown (Age 24) – Ave Mins -81, 10 games, 3 tries, 98 runs, 693 m, 3 line breaks,70 tackles, 19 missed tackles, 9 errors

Moltzen (Age 23) - Ave Min-69,13 Games , 3 tries, 83 runs, 747m , 3 line b reaks, 110 tackles, 23 missed tackles, 11 errors

Utai (Age 30) - Ave Min - 79, 11 games, 4 tries, 154 runs, 1347 m, 6 LB, 31 tackles, 20 missed tackles, 11 errors

Ryan (Age 26) - Ave Min-58, 6 games, 1 try, 58 runs, 452 meters, 1 LB, 31 tackles, 8 MT, 4 errors

McKinnon (Age 30) -Ave Min-78, 9 games, 4 tries, 126 runs, 1177 meters, 7LB, 41 Tackles, 27 MT, 8 errors

Plus a little table showing errors/ total run % and missed takcles as a % of opportunites (tackles plus MT) and interestingly it seems Beau comes out best across the 2

Player Errors/Run MT/Total Tackles
Brown 9.18% 21.35%
Moltzen 13.25% 17.29%
Utai 7.14% 39.22%
Ryan 7.41% 20.51%
McKinnon 6.35% 39.71%

You're entitled to your opinion, everyone sees players in different lights.

And no, that wasn't me on Talkin' Sport. I don't ring radio stations. It was probably Bug…

It is rather interesting, if Cronulla think he is worth approaching to come back, when you "experts" think he is not worth retaining. Maybe the Tigers just have too many stars. How come we are not higher on the table, if this is so.
