" club intermediary " ? - So Penrith employ a fixer to clean up their crap - and this doesn't test the integrity of the NRL - give me a break.

Disgusting though , if you are going to flop it out , cover it up and if you don't you take responsibility
Anyone heard of HIV AIDS or STD's ??
I'm hoping every time he touches the ball our fans (and we know many Forum members will be their ) everyone cries like a baby ..... WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

Many a young male has been in that situation of being an involuntary father - in the old days there were shotgun weddings or dangerous and illegal abortions. At least these days they have decentish choices for their mistakes - the govt will even support them if necessary. A baby coming into the world without a loving father is also troublesome so there was no perfect answer.
He would not have been first footie player to be in this situation of a payout.

@ said:Its nobody's business apart from the parties concerned IMHO, immoral as it is no crime was committed.
@ said:This type of action and behaviour just typifies the type of person Cartwright is unfortunately. He's just a grub with no sense of responsibility.

@ said:I just don't get the moral compasses of people on here - its morally wrong to have a bet on someone scoring a try against you but its morally ok to string two women along, get one pregnant then bully her and pay her off into having an abortion then have a fixer clean up the mess all under the knowledge of the club. Neither are illegal, both are wrong - one guy will probably get a life suspension the other gets a few laughs from his mates. Is this morally better than what Todd Carney did - he hurt nobody with his stupidity. I'm over these brain dead jerks no matter what club they come from. Piss the lot of them off.

I wasn't comparing Simona.
I didn't mean to link the two things at all.
