Yeah Fitzy spent his entire stint tackling forwards in the middle of the park holding them out to minimal points. He and Gibbs both lead from up front and laid the foundation and clearly paved a path for the youngsters.
So now it is Defence in Order the Attack will take care of itself..Hasn't it been the Wests Attack that's been lacking the past 4 years…
I finding it hard to keep up...
Who tackled them in the 2nd half when the Cowgirls scored 0 points.......
@crouching_tiger said:I wonder why Corby wasn't listed in front of Fitzhenry for the Foundation Cup…

If only peopel learnt to read.
I'll learn to read when you learn to spell / type champ. :unamused:
**I understand exactly what was being implied in the post I responded to** - and I still say that Gibbs needs to try to get to the top of the Tigers heap (which he has failed to do year after year) and the NRL class of a top forward before he even thinks of aspiring to the likes of Sam Burgess.
No….you dont.
ok...so we are saying that Gibbs is on par with Burgess (one an internationally reknown up and coming 20 year old) and Gibbs isn't even one of the top TIGERS players!!!!! Even if Gibbs lifts 1000% that would be great for our team, but it won't put him in the same tier as players like Burgess.
\
Gibbs needs to step up to the mark, and that benchmark is Sam Burgess.
If you cant see the difference btween the original post and your reply - both in blue - well all I can deduce is you cannot read - youre way off.
@Geo. said:Wow Bug…you certainly are a stats man...Who was No 1 BTW....
2010- _**The Year of Bryce**_...
I reckon he would be close to one of the better defenders in our pack too,,,,,,,statswise...

Is that list just Props or all forwards...
@Balmain Bug said:**1) Steve Price - 145.1 metres per game @ an average of 57.9 metres per game. Truly great.**
2) Petero Civoneceva - 139.7 metres per game @ an average of 55.2 minutes per game.
3) Matt Scott - 133.2 metres per game @ an average of 46 minutes per game.
3 Qld'ers.
@Balmain Bug said:In 2009 Skando was our best front rower metre eater per game. He smashed everyone in our club. **But** he had much less minutes on the field than all others which would mean he was fresher to make more metres.
Skandalis 121.7 metres per game (8th best in the NRL) @ 38.7 minutes per game

Might want to revise those stats: http://203.166.101.37/NRL/detailedstatsplayer.asp?player=401&lyear=2009
1285 metres total / 14 games played = 91.78 metres avg.
