I thought it was if you get your defence in order, your attack will take care of itself???

Yeah Fitzy spent his entire stint tackling forwards in the middle of the park holding them out to minimal points. He and Gibbs both lead from up front and laid the foundation and clearly paved a path for the youngsters.

So now it is Defence in Order the Attack will take care of itself..Hasn't it been the Wests Attack that's been lacking the past 4 years…

I finding it hard to keep up...

Who tackled them in the 2nd half when the Cowgirls scored 0 points.......

Who knows…CT has his version of events and we have ours.

I wonder why Corby wasn't listed in front of Fitzhenry for the Foundation Cup…

I don't think it's nice to refer to her as a hooker. A slapper maybe but she has been under stress since her sister and her boogie board cover of ganja sent her life into a spin.

Unless you are talking about Chris Corby

If only peopel learnt to read.

I'll learn to read when you learn to spell / type champ. :unamused:
**I understand exactly what was being implied in the post I responded to** - and I still say that Gibbs needs to try to get to the top of the Tigers heap (which he has failed to do year after year) and the NRL class of a top forward before he even thinks of aspiring to the likes of Sam Burgess.

No….you dont.

ok...so we are saying that Gibbs is on par with Burgess (one an internationally reknown up and coming 20 year old) and Gibbs isn't even one of the top TIGERS players!!!!! Even if Gibbs lifts 1000% that would be great for our team, but it won't put him in the same tier as players like Burgess.
\

Gibbs needs to step up to the mark, and that benchmark is Sam Burgess.

If you cant see the difference btween the original post and your reply - both in blue - well all I can deduce is you cannot read - youre way off.

LMAO … Gee I have missed this place in the off season, good to see nothing has changed

Gibbs needs a big year in 2010.

Metres wise in 2009 he went pretty good. He averaged more time on the field than all other props which would mean he would be more tired.

In 2009 Skando was our best front rower metre eater per game. He smashed everyone in our club. **But** he had much less minutes on the field than all others which would mean he was fresher to make more metres.

Skandalis 121.7 metres per game (8th best in the NRL) @ 38.7 minutes per game
Galloway 109.2 metres per game (18th best in the NRL) @ 45.8 minutes per game
Gibbs 102.3 metres per game (26th best in the NRL) @ **53.8 minutes per game**
Payten 80.8 metres per game (53rd best in the NRL) @ 49.3 minutes per game

Interesting stuff.

Wow Bug…you certainly are a stats man...Who was No 1 BTW....

2010- _**The Year of Bryce**_...

I reckon he would be close to one of the better defenders in our pack too,,,,,,,statswise...

Just props. Here is the website. http://203.166.101.37/NRL/playerdetailedstats.asp?lclub=999&sort=LBA&lyear=999&lpos=10

This is what the NRL coaches go off compiled by sportsdata.com . This is where I get all my stats from.

You can check any stat for any player at any year for ANYTHING !!

The best is Robbie Farah. The man is unbelieveable and he smashes Ennis into another universe. SMASHES HIM !!

Might want to revise those stats: http://203.166.101.37/NRL/detailedstatsplayer.asp?player=401&lyear=2009

1285 metres total / 14 games played = 91.78 metres avg.

I have said it before, but at the start of last season I thought Gibbs was one of the first players who need to be giving the boot - after 2009 my opinion has changed completely. I just hope he can back it up.

I thought it was more the fact he didn't want to come.

His wife actually played a big part in the move to NZ

Back on Gibbsy…...he used to be public enemy number one for me.

I was always whinging about him,but man he has improved out of sight last year.

Last year he tackles his bum off as usual, never had an issue there, but he ran the ball up HARD,made good metres and didnt give those stupid penalties away.

He did give a few......but man they were clever penalties,ie if he didnt give them we were gonna get scored against.

He has flown under the radar this year, but Im pumped about him and Sauce up front.

Very nice/aggressive have a dig combo.
