OFFICIAL Bryce Gibbs [Discussion]

Tragedy on tragedy. First you get shopped to the Sharks, then you get injured today and we lose in your absence.

You deserved better, club legend. Hope the Sharks are paying you heaps and that the rest of your career goes well.
 
Good luck at the sharks Bryce, shame to see it finish on a sour note for you.

Love him to death but I can see why we let him go. Way too injury prone these days.

We definitely missed him though.

Like others have mentioned I was concerned when Bryce was injured, he had blood flowing from a wound on his leg and I was relieved thinking they would be able to repair that, then when I heard ankle ligaments and he wouldn't be back I knew he would be missed, and he was especially in the second half.

And yeah, I think if he doesn't get injured, we would be playing the Storm next week.

The second half last night gave us all an insight into next year. We got destroyed up the middle where Gibbs cuts legs.

I feel some lean years coming along.
 
I think the loss of Gibbs and other factors killed it for us in the second half. We really missed his ruck defense as they were killing us up the middle. The boys just looked tired without that extra pair of fresh legs.

I havent been on every forum, clear you have though.
Gibbs has given this club 9+ years, and your pissy comment deserves the disdain it got.
 
I admit I wasnt a huge fan to mid season, but hes always been a great defensive prop, and now hes developed a great running game too.

The other props in the side really struggle to control the ruck like Gibbs and Payten have for us. Its going to be tough without him.
 
All the best Bryce really enjoyed the way you played your footy & gave your all, only said to a mate last night this could be costly when Gibbs went off as he does so much d in the middle.
 
i was just pointing out that he's not with us anymore so there's nothing really to worry about. Bryce was good to us, but it's not like I know him personally.

I enjoyed watching you giving it all for your jersey.
 
Gibbsy, have had a lot of time for him since he started at the Wests Tigers, I hate seeing one of our juniors go, but on the positive side, many thanks to him for his guts, determination and contribution to our team and club.
 
Congratulations on a great career with the Wests Tigers Gibbs. Your a great character and will be sorely missed, as will all of our departing players.

I spoke with Bryce at the Sackville tonight. Unlike his peers he can handle his New and back a winner
He laughed when I told him that the Tigers lost because he went off injured.
