Hey everyone, my name is Joey and a lot of people might read this and go hang on aren't you a west tigers supporter or why come on here and post comments like this.
Truth is as a long life Fan born in 92, now 30 and after watching this wonderful joint venture club for the past 12years I just don't understand to be perfectly honest.

I also played RUGBY league from age 6-22 So I think I have a good idea of what needs to change, is there any real communication from the board to the players and members? Public gossip seems to establish there is, sounds like another bucket of fairy tale whiz to me.
Now any team gets guided around by their half-back yes? We stuck millions of dollars into a pup on 'POTENTIAL ABILITY' instead of penning in Moses and Teddy when they were clearly showing "the right ability" instead stuck with Brooks for years, drying up our cap, which brings more pressure on his lap too...
Addo car, Scott prince, Robbie Farrar, Benji Marshall, to name a few others.. we let go, Hastings is carving up atm, TO TIGERS HQ THE CEO?! HELLO!?!?
It is time to revitalize the whole club, Top to bottom.
A future without Luke brooks or MR check my socials while the coach is speaking at half-time'
Us fans, the NRL community and the players that turn up every week deserve the consistency and direction only of which can be obtained, if all the shit within this beautiful club is stripped away.
I love this club, I just want to see it be competitive that's it.

Great to have you here.

And we all can relate to your last line.

It's a big job, fixing a horrible roster and keeping everyone happy.

That’s just it tiger_one, it’s not really a horrible roster anymore. Our forward pack is great, so much better than it’s ever been! We have close to the best hooker in the NRL. Our halves though are not great, this is the only problem, but it’s a huge one.

Players like Staines, Laurie, Naden & Tupou would go gangbusters if they could run off some creative playmakers, as would the likes of Papalii, Bateman and Offengaue! It’s really an easy fix, but the club has left it broken for so long. Bandaiding the key positions whilst bolstering the rest of the machine does nothing to fix the broken part, so we continue to operate on 2 cylinders.

Frustrating eh, constantly being told we need a rebuild. Way I see it is like basically having a car shop telling you they're restoring your Ferrari, when you turn up its a bloody sigma

100% agree,I might add at what point will a under performing Brooks be dropped or at very least come off the bench use him off the the bench when the opposition is tired also the coaches,(Benji) might get in his ear and point out some of the oppositions weakness, something Brooks is missing as the "eye's up play maker"

This thread about building success? Or demoralising our half?
Some time ago I might have been concerned our half being demoralised by my comments on a forum. I certainly wouldn't want to be publicly bashed about my poor performance week in and week out.
But then I think about the role itself as a team leader, and the pay packet, and the responsibilities they carry. That's when I think, If you have got it, use it, if not, get out of the way.

With api and Brooks rolling into the pre-season with calf injuries wasn't the best idea to play them.

Need repetition and we looked like park footy. Season over.

The sad reality is that nothing will ever be built (and last the distance) on shaky foundations.
2005 should have been a stepping stone but now I think most of us have realised that it was one of those one off thing, like winning the lottery. To rebuild this club is going to take a lot of money, a top notch administation and a recruting manager that can find the blend between old heads and upcoming youngsters.
The Swans did it, and perhaps their path may well be one way out of this hole we are in.

The reality is...the club was never built, so a rebuilding is out of the question.
In 2005 there were plenty of people saying it was a once in a lifetime event, when the planets lined up, when Venus and Mars were alright on the night and Uranus was shielded from the sun.
