Bulldogs v Knights *SPOILERS*

Woods will be a great acquisition for the Bulldogs just like all the other good players we have let go to other clubs have been in recent times. Those trying to convince themselves otherwise should probably start concentrating on the form of players replacing him.

I missed the part where we let Woods go….I'm pretty sure he had an offer to stay chose not to take it up and left all by himself....

The reference is to players who are no longer at the club and are playing well despite those who think that they are overated or will fail…..let go/ or who chose to leave.

So did you. No one is saying he is a bad signing, but is he the sort of signing that will take a side from the bottom of the ladder to the 8? He's not the type of player they need to improve, and not for the ridiculous money they are paying him.

And its satasfying to see how much they are struggling because he's made himself look like an idiot. People are filthy with Tedesco, but no one argues when he said he wanted to play with a club who plays final's because we all know the Roosters will be thereabouts. The Dogs on the other hand might not even have a coach when our fake captain arrives. It would make a mockery of his justification for leaving.

Reynolds got away there but he needs to fix all those dumb stuff he does

We've overpaid big time for this peanut. What a dumb thing to do with 10 seconds to go.

Geez, he will never become a great player for as long as he continues to do dumb stuff like that

Dumb stuff, please elaborate?

Putting your hands up in the air after the illegal block was the dumb part, he needed to act like what he did was OK, it's makes it easier for a ref to blow his whistle if your looking straight up him, hands up in the air like you have just robbed a bank. :astonished:

Please GNR, I thought Tedesco was going because he was a Rooster's supporter as a child :unamused:

It's got nothing at all to do with $$$$$$$$$$$$$ whatsoever.

You can't denigrate the motive of Woods for leaving and then give Tedesco a pass. Hasler has a pretty good record of getting the Bulldogs to the finals.

I think the point in relation to Woods is that he has left to get more money/go to a better team but he might end up at a bad team.

I think the dogs can turn it around. They have a lot of good players.

i lost $1,000 on the damn knights, bloody useless

What the hell were you thinking putting 1k on the Knights anyway? Ballsy bet I'll give you that!

Almost came off. I just thought with the salary cap, it balances the comp out. Teams generally don't win or lose more than around 6-7 games. I put $500 on the panthers because I knew Manly were due for a loss. Just like the tigers lost about 6/7 in a row and came back and won. It's just the balance of the comp.

But it was a dumb bet because I lost and that Brock kid couldn't kick.
