An interesting read on the DT website today reading Rotfields blog. No surprise that he had some pretty big swipes at the Tigers and Marshall. some of his answers to Tigers related questions:

*Someone attacked the Beauster saying he had an ego and wasn't the player he thought he was, to which Rotfield replied with 'His ego is nowhere near the size of Turncoat Tim or Benji'

* And when asked if Farah's ego was affecting things he had this to say 'Okay. Where do I start. I rate Robbie Farrah very highly as a player but this team lacks leadership. Benji Marshall is CEO. He runs the club. He does the recruitment. Tim Sheens is too scared to upset him and pull him into line. So is Stephen Humphreys. I feel they lack discipline. Too much flashy stuff and not enough hard yacka. I wrote earlier in the year that Benji is the best in the game 7 weeks out of 10\. The other three weeks are the problem. They need a reality check - all of them. They need to get someone like Wayne Pearce in to talk about respect and pride in the jersey'

I can see both sides. Yeah i'm sure Marshall does have an ego and does try and have it all his own way. We seen last year how mature he can be the way he carried himself when Sheens almost signed with Penrith. But at the same time the pathetic vandetta Rotfield seems to have to anything tigers is clear to see

Rothfield is a clown - in fact he even LOOKS like one.
His pitiful vendetta in regards to Marshall and Sheens is beyond a joke and now he has a go at Moltzen all the time as well (probably because he's a friend of Marshall's)
Ever heard him carry on like this about any other club?
And can someone send him a photo of turncoat Greg Inglis in a Broncos jersey - or is he too scared to upset him because he plays at Souths??

Its a major shift to dump a team structure after only 3 games.

Its easy to say things like "lets give Miller a go" or "put Moltzen at fullback" etc. its never as simple as we all make it sound.

The comments about ego's are absurd .

The comments about leadership I can't help but agree with .
A well lead team , does not make the number of mistakes that WTs did on Friday .
A well lead team , with a roster a strong WTs does not produce form as fickle as WTs last 120mins of football .

In saying that I don't blame Robbie alone ,leadership at an NRL club is more the one player , it's :
The CEO
The Coach
The captain
The coaching staff
And the senior players

- why does rothfield only refer to the old balmain tigers players when talking about pride in the jersey?

Where is the link to western suburbs? Surely players of the old wests also showed as much pride and passion when they pulled on the black & white jersey…

I was about to say that Tommy Raudonikis, had great pride in the Magpies jersey as well. I dont believe the ego thing, thats been going around for years. Most football players understand you are only as good as your last game. :rant
