I think long term with the stadium strategy the State Goverment is pushing we will end up

2 x CSS games
2 x LO games
7 x ANZ games

I'd be happier with that. It's fair on both parties, and financially beneficial to the club. It's a sad reality, but life goes on.

If and when Leichhardt is deemed unfit:

6 x Ctown
6 x Anz/SFS

Just because the club might be forced out of LO doesn't mean Ctown should suffer as well. Nothing wrong with the ground. As long as Parra and Penrith are playing 12 games a yr at their home grounds, theres no reason why we can't play 6\. We have to maintain some kind of significant presence in the area. Plying only 2 games when every other game could be potentially in the inner city is not good enough.

It isn't about parity in my scenario.

The State Government wants the big stadiums to be the focus and Parramatta has already been revealed as the choice for funding.

As such I believe there will be larger incentives across the board to play more games at the bigger venues .

Being forced out of Leichhardt isn't an issue for me. We will always play some games there every year. Of that I have no doubt simply because of previous turnout etc.

I totally agree. But my split would be 7 @ Campbelltown and 5 @ ANZ or SFS. I would give the highest bidder all 5 games, we don't need 2 neutral homes.

Bad weather, Bad scheduling, Bad results on the Field. I have been to all home games & sometimes when going to L.O i cant get a parking spot but i love the atmosphere there & i live @ Bradbury near Campbelltown. The games @ Campbelltown i would like to see different Teams play there against the Tigers.

Pending the state government's long term support of LO Perhaps one long term alternative is:

5 x CSS games (ask nrl to avoid mon nights)
5 x SFS or perhaps ANZ games
2 x LO games (request nrl for sunday day only)

And what about the Balmain sector of the supporters? If this was in reverse there'd be an uproar from the Magpies sector.
There's a large supporter base up on the Central Coast, I'm one, and I will not drive an almost 6 hour round trip for five home games in Campbelltown. That will be the end of my membership unfortunately.

5 games at SFS or ANZ is still inner west / inner city (same as LO) so you don't have to travel to campbelltown 12 times a year only 5\. If Balmain was still in NRL as a stand alone team they would be most likely playing all games at SFS or ANZ just like Bulldogs left Belmore for $$ at the two stadiums.

being an original balmain supporter should have nothing to do with it. South West sydney is a growth area with big population, junior talent and a good stadium. WT must embrace it.

Mate I'm from the central coast also and have a membership to all home games. I travel to all Sydney away games also. Since they have upgraded the roads out to campbelltown it is actually much quicker now.. I've got to campbelltown games in quicker time than I have sfs games!! It definitely is not a 6 hour round trip from the central coast!!
