Hey, does that sqaure bracketing type thing in the background represent the possibility of have a new big screen installed?

Yeah. Got me beat why they are installing it at that end of the stadium considering when they had the mobile one one the truck up that end you couldn't see the replays due to the sun glaring off it

(if it is indeed the screen, might be a new scoreboard) it looks like the screen is further to the west than where they postitioned the temporary screen so hopefully it will get less sun glare.

by looking at that photo you can see how un-adequate the roof on the Eastern side is. They should have somehow got that fixed.

Yeah I know. It's like they only made it for the people in the boxes/upper levels.

The square bracket thing is behind the grey rock retaining wall by the looks of it…I initially thought it was staunchions on the rail line.
Has it changed at all...some time now since photos taken?

It's still there looks exactly the same. if it is a video screen i daresay they wouldn't have it installed until the rest of the upgrades are completed.
driving past it looks as tho it's above the entrance on the hill there.

The video screen they currently own can be transported and hired out for other events. From the info I received that structure wasn't part of the initial plans - unless they are planning on attaching the current video screen to it.

Said the same thing to Gobbs, a new/extended upper Western Stand is the next step. Anyone got a lazy 30mill they can spare ? Be interested to see what the function room thingo is going to look like though at the end of the Western Stand.

Not bad though for a part time boutique stadium.

Really all that is letting it down is its lack of undercover seating. Hopefully Wests Tigers don't use that as a reason not to play more than 4 games there in the future.

Campbelltown Stadium = field of dreams. It's a tragedy we only play there 4 times a year. Atleast I get to watch my Magpies play there every other week during the season. I can already feel it! C'MONNNN WESTSSSSS!!!

How expensive would it be just to get some cheap cover right around the Stadium? We would get bigger crowds. It would be worth it.

Stuck my head into Campbo .

The new curator has the surface looking immaculate. Its like carpet. The hill has a new layer of grass on it as well.

He told me that the players facilities are on now par with ANZ and the SFS. He said the ice baths in place are fantastic.

The ground looked unreal. The seating he said will all be in place in another week. There was just a bit to be done in the south western side.

I took some pics from my mobile phone. Picture quality is average but you get an idea. One thing I dont like is that the seating on the northern and southern hill sides only goes back 6 rows and looks a bit like a token effort just so they can say they have seating all the way around the ground. 16 rows would have been nicer and perhaps that can be adapted in the next stage of upgrades.

They should plonk an old underground dunny block in the middle of those seats at the northern end….reminds me a bit of Leichhardt now
Wonder where GA and reserved will now be seperated....looks like theres the option for more pricier tickets

Dark blue/charcoal. They look amazing. They did not change the existing eastern concourse seats though so it looks a tad mis-matched.
