A very sad story if you follow it up,he was a very promising footballer whose career was destroyed when a scrum collapsed on him damaging his spine/neck becoming a paraplegic (from memory) and Penrith supported him by by employing him as a doorman at the leagues club (once again from memory).
I am sure some people will know more than i do about it as memory is not always 100% correct.
