So with 3 rounds to go it's not impossible but we would need to win all 3. I can't see us overcoming a 68 point differential unless the dragqueens get a flogging or two. We were robbed against the raiders and fairly stuck it to the warriors so who knows. I think we will beat the dolphins, hopefully comfortably, we are a very good chance against the rorters in our last home game. It may all come down to the wire for the last game at 4 pines. Surely Turbo is due for an injury, he has played like 4 games in a row now! Fingers crossed!!

We WILL be wooden spooners this season and whilst imo we have a good chance of a win this Saturday, we WONT beat Roosters or Manly. Fingers crossed or uncrossed.

Not sure about that but I tend to think that lately at the very least we are better than the Dogs especially if you consider the so called talent they have bought compared to us, and I include their "superstar" coach in saying that.
Maybe bias on my side but I think if not for some very dubious officiating that we would have avoided the spoon and in saying that I would still consider the season the be an A grade failure even if we did miss out on the spoon.

Just Gunna start this week and if we win will put all winnings next week and so forth.
Easts have buggar all chance anyway but would love us to make it official anyway.
I feel some here might be disappointed if we did win these games.
The officials may even try to look like they are evening it up a little for us. 🙂

I'm going to assume this thread is for season 24. We can avoid the spoon in that scenario but I'm not sure we will. Hopefully we do.

Getting the spoon seams a formality, but (as they say in the classics) we are a mathematical chance of dodging it.
The way the competition is structured, final ladder standings are a bit skewed. Saints and dogs play Souths reggies while we play their full strength side. Only playing every team home and away would give a better indication of your season, and even then you have SOO complications.
Would love for us to be the ones to put the final nail in rorters or gull’s coffin.

We are 1 win behind Dragons
Differential is 57 points in favour of Dragons.
Rooster should get us, but we can get Manly.
Warriors and Knights should both do the Dragons.
Therefore:
We take Roosters to the wire but lose by 6, whilst Warriors belt Dragons by 24.
We smash Manly by 18, Newcastle do Dragons by 22.
We draw level with Dragons and come 16th by 1 point on differentials.
…and the crowd goes wild….
