Can We Beat Eels ??

We will be in the top 8 within the next 3 weeks. Eels & Titans away then a bye.

It all depends on Kearney.

Yesterdays press conference was the first sign that he was about to weild the axe in terms of players not putting in.

Waiting for the typical scenario when we play the Eels where they have a crisis meeting in the week leading up to playing us and come out like men possesed

You can always tell in the first 2 minutes if we are SWITCHED ON!!! Our kick chase has to IMPROVE!!! We seem so SLOW to get to our downtown kicks!!! Are we FIT????

I read somewhere Sandow is going walkabout this weekend back to this home town in brissy somewhere, Apparently he is missing home. If he for some reason forgets to come home then tigers should win it easy..

only got as far as Wentworthville .

a massive call for a marquee signing and chief playmaker

this will either

(i) fire him up
(ii) depress him

I get the feeling our game is the last roll of the dice for Parra & Kearney .

to be frank i didnt think they actually played that well against penrith. great to win and a flattering scoreline imo, but hopefully it gives them confidence.
if nothing else, the last 2 games their defense has been very good in that neither side scored easily, and imo, defense is the first thing towards getting the attack going (i know they put 30 on last week, but still i wasnt over excited).
i think the bye has come at a good time for them and a win where they start to click on the field will go a long way towards at least getting to the corner that we all hope they will soon turn….

well now that Sandow has been ruled out of the Wentworthville game…

Kearney has goosed himself .

He either has to pick a guy he says is low on confidence or he has to make him play for Wenty next week .

Yeah I'm pretty sure he is heading back to Murgon

Can anyone remember which footballer returned to his home town of Murgon only to have his jaw broken ??

Hint He played for Australia

For me, this game is similar to the penrith game, both teams are below par and desperate for a win. I am tipping a similar result for Wests Tigers based on the class of our team which should shine through. If parra are without Hayne ie he injuries his knee in city country then that tilts the scales more firmly our way.
