Can we go 3-0 for the first time?

The game is there for the taking as long as the Tigers pack displays the same go forward and determination to allow the halves to create havoc out wide. The Titans can not be taken lightly as they were in the game against the Storm for 60 minutes and beat the Knights (not saying much though) the week before!!

is this the game beginning at 9.30pm???

yeah. 8.30pm in Qld, 9.30 in NSW.
this will be past Moses and Brooks bedtime.

I was thinking of going to GC for the game but I hate being half a mile away from the action at back of stand - see tonnes more on TV

Cbus is a pretty good viewing stadium BBF , not as good as Suncorp

Have they resumed playing matches at Suncorp yet Happy, after that 'little drainage issue' that caused a Test match to be abandoned last season?

i am definitely not as confident as I was with this game as the first two.

I would stay away from punting on us the next two weeks.

Like others, I am less confident entering into this week. That loss to GC last year and our short turn around are affecting my confidence. Strangely Tigers have 2.5 start on TAB but the odds have swung around so we are the favorites at $1.70\. Based on form you think that's fair but i wouldn't be touching it.

Others are talking up GC against Storm. Yes it was close for much of the game but they were pretty bad. When Storm decided to put the foot down, they were left clearly behind.

Life is never easy being a Tiger supporter, whenever we are expected to win we either lose or do it the hard way…

Well Ive looked into my crystal balls and see us 24-0…seriously don't get too far ahead...the test for such a young side will be consistency in getting the gap between our best and worst performances to narrow ATM we are blowing teams off the park that is all well and good when completions are high with an even share of possession ....harder to maintain week in week out there will be times we will need to get down and dirty...

I laugh a bit to at the flavour seeping through that we only beat teams cause they were crap...bull..we beat Warriors and Manly cause they only played as good as we let them...

Bring on the TIT's...

The Warriors got a penalty in the first tackle of the match and failed to find touch. That had nothing to do with us.

Yes I can see how that cost them the game..

What it did was show where their heads were at. It set the platform for the rest of the game. They're also notoriously slow starters having lost their last 6 or 7 1st round games. The majority of which they were warm favourites. The chances they lost all of those games because they were simply outclassed is drawing a long bow. They have massive mental issues and have had for a long time.

Woods getting taken over the sideline 1st tackle shortly after showed…?

It's hard not to get excited Joe but usually games that we are favourites for? Are the ones we struggle with, I'm sure we will be favourites this Weekend.

I'm buzzing for this Weekends game.

I'll be tipping the Titans , as I'm 0/2 tipping against the mighty Wests Tigers

Mate have been doing the same in my tipping comp, every week going for the other mob,but I think the Tigers are unbackable favourites this week so I have tipped them. Could be a bad sign

Titans have a very high completion rate this year, but are lacking some zip in attack and miss alot of tackles… I think this will be our toughest game this year to date and we will need to work through our sets in the middle of the park if we are to dominate them.

Yes we can go 3-0, but we will need to earn it!

I'm not risking it , rather do my cash and have the boys get up

The Tigers are nuffies

Titans will smash us like guitars

I think we will because I think the team knows they must make the most of this early season form and the draw they have. We play 4 of our first 7 at Leicchardt & Campbelltown but after that comes Origin and plenty of games away and at ANZ. We are in good form, players are confident and no major injuries so win as many now as they can so when the tough period comes, and it will come, we will already have got some points in the board. So this next game is as important as any in terms of where we might finish. It's a short turn around but after this game there's a 9 day turn around so that will give them ample time to rest. And the 17 who take the field have all been doing their bit so that helps big time.

The Warriors were crap against us and continued the same in round 2
Manly were almost as bad as the Warriors were in their first game, and were only marginally better against us on Monday.
Still we've played well for most of our two games. And deserved the wins.
But the hard part comes when we hit the better teams.
At least we've had two games now to get the cobwebs out and have 4 points as well.
We need to pray that Teddy stays fit and in the form that he's in at he moment.
The really good thing is that I get to watch them this week.

In reality we should have too much for them.

However a few things worry me,

* Short turn around
* young blokes packing their jeans before their boots trip to the glitter strip
* titans usually run us very close.

Im like most people, was way more confident against Manly. However I think we will previal but I expect some hairy moments.

30-24 Tigers.

We haven't just played well, we've played very, very good football. The Warriors and Manly aren't at their best yet that's true, neither are we to be fair, but in both those games we could've won by more. Against the Warriors we went awfully close to scoring 2 more tries in the first half, the video ref denying us both times. Nofoaluma only centimetres away from scoring in the corner (foot on touch line) and Lovett apparently knocking the ball out of the Warriors players hand when Naqaima scored, looked a bit 50/50 that call. Then at the start of the 2nd half Manu drops a bomb, Naqaima picks it up and throws it to the wrong player with the try line begging. I can't remember the Warriors having many more chances then those that they scored off.
Against Manly we had 2 other chances to score, the kick bouncing over Jordan Rankin's head with nobody else near him and Cherrington just missing the ball after Brooks kick through. And Manly had a try given to them by the video ref when Brown apparently got the ball down which again looked 50/50 to me. So I know both games got very close but it's not as if we had a lot of luck either. We're giving ourselves plenty of opportunities to score, probably had 9 opportunities to Warriors 5, and 9 opportunities to Manly's 4\. Except for the 2nd half against the Warriors where we made a few too many errors we've been pretty damn good.

My gut tells me we will do it tough this game… We rarely win those game we are favourites and we always struggle at the Gold Coast

I see an opportunity to be 6-1.

TITANS

KNIGHTS

yeh we've won two of the toughest games of the opening 6 rounds and we should be winning the next few if opposition teams maintain their form.

may sound premature, but this year will be the same as every other year if we don't win against titans. granted the short turnaround and titans actually being in decent form, we SHOULD beat them.
