Can we make the eight next year?

I'm tipping we will. Provided we can get a coach and staff to focus on the job ahead, I think we can give ourselves a fair chance. What's done is done and over a pre season all will be forgotten. The main thing is to get the coach right, someone who has some experience in charge of an NRL side. Let's face it, whoever comes in as coach will buy a halfback of some sort, there's one area of improvement straight up. But should we sign someone like Parish, expect no improvement.
With all that said and our current roster stays the same, with possibly a few new additions, I'm predicting a top 6 finish.

With the right attitude and leadership we can win the comp. Look at the Dogs, that's no fluke. They turned it all around in a year. No doubt Des had plenty to do with it, but it just goes to show what a good coach and a fresh voice can do.

Yes I believe we can.
A lot of sides will be on the up such as Canberra, Sharks and so on….the question will be whether we can improve. After the disaster that was this season the answer has to be yes doesnt it?

Depends on the coach, the side he picks and the reaction of the players to the new coach.
If he picks players in their position and provides some structured football for us to play then yes. If the boys continue to run the side and walk over a rookie coach we could be in for a long year.

No matter who the coach is their are 3 factors and 3 factors only that determine whether we make the eight next year
1) Does Benji play over 20 regular season games
2) Does Robbie play over 20 regular season games
3) Do Keithy and Woodsie play over 20 regular season games

If all 3 happen we make the top 4

any team can make the 8 with a 'good' coach. There are 2 now, belly ache & Hasler. There is another out there in the making. I hope we can secure him. Whoever he is?

Ill be putting $100 on us to win the whole thing and then ill put $10 a week on the same bet so i dont notice the money going. Will build up to $260 on us to win the comp at varying odds.

Ill do this with no great confidence but with plenty of hope

the answer will come when we find out what the new coach will do about finding a 1/2 back, this will determine our season. sheens failed to address the problem and this is why he is no longer with us.
1 find a 1/2 back
2 put all players on notice
3 find some size for the pack so we can compete with the the bigger packs.
when we know the answer to some of these questions then and only then will we know if we can make the eight.

Well thats8 games without him…we missed out by 2 points and a poor for and against....we talk as though we have just come out of a disastrous season....yeah it wasnt good but it wasnt a disaster.

I believe every year we can make the 8 and before this year we made 2 in a row... our keys players finding some consistency we can make it...
