Can't stand Monday night footy!

I think it should be called MONEY NIGHT FOOTBALL,thats when they earn some extra,having said that I understand a lot of people cant make it to the footy on Mondays due to work or location to the game but I jagged this Monday off so I will travel to Campbo for the game,it will take us about 50 mins there and 50 back,the only drawback is that I have to open the shop at 7am on Tuesday morning…bummer..but if the Tiges win I wont care..hopefully my roster will suit some of the ANZ games, that would be great....

I will have to be extremely well behaved this season,the missus has mapped out a BUDGET for my entertainment and knowing her it will be tight...I cant wait until the new blinds and carpet get put in so my life is my own again...Hang on Im in a relationship...my lifes everyone elses except mine...cheers forumers love you all....

Look at the positives Tigers. When WestsTigers play MNF, the wait isn't as long for their next game. As for not getting wrecked, = No hangover the next day :mrgreen:

That is not the biggest problem ? what is the biggest problem is getting Dinner organised , kids Training , homework bathing them in time . Oh but it doesn't end there ….. then it's telling the Mrs she is Watching My Kitchen Rules in the Bedroom :mrgreen: .
She knows the rules when Tigers play :laughing:

It is trickier to get to a Monday or Friday night game if my wife's working. She's not a fan of say going straight to ANZ stadium from the office, so those are usually TV games. At least the Fox games are live, and we don't have to wait til Ch9 feels like telling us what happened.

Not in a good way…

Usually finish work at 8 pm and start again at 8 am on Tuesday. Most often just forget that MNF is on- no Foxtel either.

When it's a Monday game, it means checking the scores here and watching highlights Tuesday night.

As GNR said, AFL has sorted their schedule out the best

I think so Hobbo , couldn't find 2014 MNF results

But we've drawn some tough games on those Monday's barring the Raiders and we were garbage that night

But (please don't quote me ) I think we lost our first 5 Monday's from 2007 onwards

I'm scraping for something remotely positive :laughing:

But hey , the one of the WT's best ever wins came on a Monday night v Melbourne with the Rowdy try to finish it at Leichhardt 16-6 :sign:

We got this one boys , all good

Doing the day shift on Monday, so i will be home to watch the game. Friends popping round with Pizza and Beer, and i will make some Butterscotch Popcorn to nibble on after dinner. It would be nice to get a win against the Dragons. :slight_smile:

Toughen up man , go to the game and then travel straight to where the seminar is being held and sleep there

tigermama and myself had a quick chat about mnf in another thread. i dont mind it…when other teams are playing! its only when the tigers are on mnf i dont like it because it just doesnt have the same feel and as said before, the atmosphere at them just always seems really flat.
its just...unaustralian!
