Canterbury Bulldogs table four-year deals to lure James Tedesco and Aaron Woods from Wests Tigers

Just go. How long do we need to put up with this for? Yes it'll hurt - especially with Teddy - but life goes on.
At least we won't need to put up with 'Our preference is to stay playing together at the Tigers blah blah blah…' and this romantic thought of local juniors leading their club to a premiership. Maybe that's just the media playing it up I don't know.

If Woods goes, he'd be a loss, but he's reached his ceiling. I don't think we'll watch him week after week seeing what he's doing and being dirty that he's not doing it for us. He's not irreplaceable. Tedesco on the other hand will hurt.

I just think if they leave it would be the ultimate betrayal. This club has given them everything, from probably paying for their school fees to being them in when they were young and letting them blossom.

I see them leaving as bad as an SBW. Would be an absolute insult.

I just don't buy the fact that we're supposedly a club embroiled in constant drama when it's been proven that the clubs they've been linked to have had their fair share of off field drama too. As far as us not getting results, it's an insult that they as senior players take zero blame for that. So if an 18 year old kid like Suli drops a ball that costs us a game, that is going to influence them to leave? It's a cop out. It's their prerogative if they choose to leave, but what will be the hard part is if they feed us half baked, weak excuses as to why they are leaving as opposed to just being honest.

Exactly. It makes me pissed off when the players say "We want to be playing finals football," like they have nothing to do with it and they can't affect it.

Yep. Look at what the club did to retain Moses and how quickly he left.

I hope they all stay including Moses changing his mind but if they leave it really shows who they are as people.

We definitely aren't embroiled in constant drama. This line is crazy talk. Even all the talk about how bad we perform to me is simply not true. We aren't that bad and it can all turn around quickly. Look at the Knights. They've been really bad for a good couple of years but to me they look like they can turn it around.

What about the Dragons, they signed a good front rower and a hooker and now they are on top of the comp. WE AREN'T THAT FAR AWAY GUYS!! :sign:

No one knows what Tedesco and Woods will do at this point in time but could it be that they really are waiting to see who we sign this year?

They have spoken about playing finals footy.

We've got McQueen next year, we are speaking to Matulino and I am sure the club would keep them in the loop as to who else is a good chance of coming.

Just a wild guess but could make some sense

Vote yes to the wall on the Southside

You would think if both Woods and Teddy leave they would announce it on a Monday or Tuesday so it could give time for the team to take it all in and settle down for the game on the weekend.

Let's hope they both announce they are staying on a Thursday

Why, nothing they have does thus far is promoting stabilisation…

Hope Woodds & Teddy stay, But we cant pay Woods nine big ones. I hope they are waiting to see who we sign, But i doubt it. Boys just let us know so we can sign some good replacements.

Sad day

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/triple-signings-rock-the-nrl-as-bulldogs-get-double-hit-and-roosters-get-their-man/news-story/04783f81862e36d3389cd3181936de2b?utm_content=SocialFlow&utm_campaign=EditorialSF&utm_source=DailyTelegraph&utm_medium=Twitter

Let's remember same paper also said Tedesco was on verge of re-signing with us before the start of season. But unfortunately this time looks like it will be correct.

Sad that those two took the easy way out. Things dont go how they want them and they bail. Look at paul gallen, could of played broncs or roosters but stuck solid and ended up winning a premiership. Shame theyl miss out on that..
