Madden misses two field goal attempts from long range. 24 all fulltime.

They should have took the field goal earlier, and closer

Yeah no argument from me.

I have to say Madden, Burey Talau, Heleta and the young hooker all were good to watch. Burey reminds me of Mick Neill with his darting about in the field.

Jennings is just too fat same with packer...both could be really good first graders...both need another good ore season under Madge them we’ll see...way I see neither will see firsts till next yr

@pawsandclaws1 liked what Clarke did also.
Boy would go for that Tristian Sailor guy. Pace, positioning can play fullback, centre and wing. Can kick goals also. Yum!

Yep and they are out of condition. We need quite a restructure both in coaching and players at this level.

It is the experienced players who continually let down the side. McQueen is good for x number of clangers during a game. Packer and Rochow were far from outstanding. The tall winger is used as a battering ram. Hodgson surely can think of better plays to get him involved.

On paper this team should be a lot better, new coach needed to get the best outta of this lot

After watching this team most weeks for the last few months, I’d have to say the only player that without a doubt could slot into first grade would be Clark.

Packer and Garner have been okay in spots but inconsistent.

Out back 5 is as about as dangerous as our first grade side. Unfortunately, perhaps bar Talau and Bradley, don’t think any will ever play firsts. We need a fullback ASAP.

hasnt smith been injured for a while ??
is he not a future 1st grader ???

Was out for a while but been back for a weeks now. I just can’t see it. Not fast. Doesn’t seem to be a ball player. Just can’t really see what’s going to take him to next level.

It's hard to put into words how poor and inept this side is at times. Hodgson surely can't be reappointed.

Have to agree with you about Hodgson, Eric Smith from the Sunshine Coast
Falcons would be a very good pick up for us.

Considering this was Packer's 1st game back for goodness knows how many weeks, I thought the guts and determination he showed mixed in with a bit of aggression made him a blooming good recipe for a return to NRL, at least off the bench for a while till he regains full fitness.
I was also really pleased to see Rochow play with determination like he really wants to play for Our Wests Tigers next year.

I must be in the minority, I thought Packer was good. Only player to finish on his front and get quick play the balls. Offloaded well except for one error and cleaned up the ruck well.

I haven’t been his biggest fan but credit where it’s due.

Clarke was okay but he’s a workhorse and doesn’t make much of an impact.

Talau has stuff to work on but has talent and could physically handle nrl.

Madden was good but needs time to bulk up his frame. Also needs to work on his running game.

I caught snippets of the match, noticed madden trying to do a few benji steps

If he can master that as well as brooks......
