Canterbury Cup team announcement Round 5

Listening to the Steelesports idiots (Panthers callers) I think they mentioned "Coleman" in the latter part of 2nd half. Would that be the Coleman who was caught up in the Musgrave Pub incident? If so does that mean his Day in Court has cleared him?
 
Job done, good effort to turn things around after last week. Thought the left edge of McIntyre, Momirovski (aside from the ball watching for the last try) and Bradley were good today. Gamble ran the ball well and Nofa had some good contributions in the second half. Completion rate was also good, 35/40.
 
Elijah Taylor saying he needs to work on his metres in attack to get back into the NRL. Don't think he gave away a penalty either today
 
Smith and Gamble are both good backline talents. Bradley had a great game on the wing and I liked the way he ran the ball up with purpose. I also liked the contributions of the development players McIntyre, Talau and Seyfarth. Seyfarth has some work to do on his running of the ball which he will learn but his workrate in defence and first up contact is first rate.
 
Really solid win with momirovski, Nofoaluma, McIntyre very solid.

Sadly, I think McQueen’s time in the sun is coming to an end. Very little impact imo. Was hoping he’d push for an NRL spot this year. Not even close.
 
Nofoaluma certainly did not put any pressure on Fonua after today’s performance chalk and cheese IMO .. Fonuas hit ups are beast like ,Nofo a good back up for injury at best !
 
Kane Bradley is the one that interests me. 19 yrs, 196 cm and over 100kg playing on the wing. Thats what we need on our wings next year not midgets and bad haircuts
 
Really liked the look of Bradley. He’s got that Tupou build and has more speed than I was expecting from a former backrower.

Talau was solid and like Bradley has all the physical attributes we’ve lacked in the past.

He looked good didn't he, got the ball down in thre corner with ease.
 
Now I know that Momi has played all those games for the Roosters, and all . . . but was anyone really impressed ? He was put in the clear, and run down by 3 panthers. He didn't have a shocking game, but he didn't stand out in a team that played on the front foot for most of the game.
Bradley and Gamble looked very competent.

His game did nothing for me today. No where near putting pressure on the 1st graders.
 
90% of our backline would have been run down in ten yards. Momi would be no quicker or slower than what we have. But he is strong in D and has some footy smarts. At present imo he is in front of Jennings, and Robbo at the Chooks thought he could do a job in a semi will do me
 
I posted earlier that his lack of pace was on display. But I thought he ran well, had a good passing game and was good defensively.
Gamble was ok but not great. Kicking game close to poor - two 7 tackle sets I think from memory. He is big and strong but he’s not fast and he doesn’t seem to be able to set up his outside men. I still reckon he’s a decent reserve grader and that’s it. Hope I’m wrong.

Not sure Robbo had too many other choices. He had Kane Evans as a regular in his 17 aswell but I wouldn't feed that guy.

Ran well, Good passing game and good defensively - that seesm to cover everything you want in a player for me especially a centre
