How gutless is our front office? Every thing about that decision was in our favor & yet we roll over like mongrel dogs & piss on ourselves! Thats the reason why we are where we are. Why should our players try their hearts out when there is no support from the front office? Culture starts at the top .

Yeah , what really frustrates me is these clowns make out they "Love the club" & "We wont rule out legal action" etc etc. These guys make out they are "passionate" about the club.

The day we instill a "NO Di#kheads in the front office or allowed to be sponser " policy is the day we regain our character & winning culture .

What are we ever going to get from the NRL when our own front office wont stand up when we have an airtight case? I live in a small town , but ill tell you right now even my local solicitor would have rode this unlosable case to the end , we would have got back our stolen 2 points & probs a 5 figure settlement to boot!

Couldn’t care if we won or lost the legal battle this was the equivalent of Reynolds leaving at half time (off the field). Just all piss and wind these dorks!

Going all the way with this in courts is not a path I would recommend ….. more damage to our relationship with NRL head office and more expense than it’s worth.
Court Outcome would be that it’s sport and you take good with the bad.
We would end up being a sporting laughing stock.

Or maybe they would’ve exposed the NRL which lead to change in the game, creating a better comp.

We will never know.

Couldn't care less if we lost the legal battle? What if Tigers go to court, lose the case, and then have to pay the NRL's costs for mounting a pointless case?

Hundreds of thousands of dollars down the toilet, and that's what you advocate, as good management?

Hey, momo_ amp_medo, what are the NRL they going to do they havent already done? Instruct the refs to give us bum calls ? Give us none of the the 50/50 calls? Let the North QLD cowboys kick off when they are offside , then get the refs to call a bogus escort penalty , and then deny our captain his captains challange?

The reality is we wouldnt lose. Not with a half decent legal team. Where could we find one of those?

Would have liked the WT statement to mention if they heard the tape they were requesting, or not, and if they were satisfied with what they heard,however, if not, why not ?
Obviously some sort of sweetheart deal has been negotiated, just look at the dual statement release today, probably both drafted at that NRL/WT meeting.
I guess we just have to suck it up and move on.
But a bitter taste still lingers.
