Carter sacked by the Titans

Would definitely sign him up. He is a first-grade quality second rower. How many of those do we have again?

Having said that, I think the NRL needs to make a rule where if you are sacked from a club, you have a mandatory suspension from NRL for a suitable period of time, and that should include time away from training at your new club.

I agree with those sentiments in regards the mandatory suspension

In this case if he gets a 18 month suspension from obtaining a drivers licence the fine for football could be the same

Do the same with first offenders as well

Good idea H Bom

Yes please. Would love us to have a go for him. Could be a good edge defender to help protect one of our halves.

Hopefully he can sort his off field issues out. Such a waste of an opportunity by doing stupid things like that. Playing first grade league is probably his dream, so why throw it away by drink driving?

I remember saying we should grab him last time he was available , he is better now than back then , we be very handy pick up

I don't get it, if it happened at this club or any other club it would be the same result, sacked. But for some reason bad behavior at another club is irrelevant.

LOL, he's younger and less experienced than everyone in our current back row, and has a drinking problem!

No thanks…

Being caught twice for DUI and "having a drinking problem" are not the same thing. Just stick to the facts.

Drink driving first time = stupid
Drink driving second time = stupid
Driving unlicensed = stupid
Drink driving 2nd offence whilst unlicensed = extremely stupid.

I'm wondering if the NRL will de-register him?

The NRL are hypocrites if they do…Smith, Slater, Inglis, Bird, Lui, Maitua etc have all been found guilty of doing much worse and they are still free to play in the NRL. In some cases getting paid mega bucks and in some inexplicable cases getting picked to represent their State and their country.
