This week's RLW has Sheens saying that Cayless may be back in time for the finals. Sheens says Cayless experience could be handy. He is starting to come good from a series of knee injuries which have plagued him. Sheens said the Tigers knew this when they bought him though. 😱pen_mouth:

I can't see a place for him in the top 17 given how underdone he is.

If we start scoring points there is no reason to rush him in to FG.

This week is important to win and add to the +/-

He'd be plenty of use around the traps but could he seriously help us in the finals given his match fitness? Highly doubtful.

He needs to put on about 15kgs of he wants to play first grade again

Thats a big ask leading into the Finals.

Is he around next year or will we cut him???

The Tigers have received no value out of him this season regardless of how cheap he was. I'd be letting him go and promoting one of the younger forwards.

Fair enough for Sheens to say he could be useful. What is he supposed to say "Well actually he is a dud buy and we won't be letting him near first grade"? I am of course assuming he was asked specifically about Cayless.

Good he'll be back for the finals!!!!!

We need another person to help pick up the dirty towels after the game.

Have been very dissapointed in him! His form before injury was poor.

It would be tradgic if we lost Moors and kept Cayless for another year.

And I was excited when I heard we signed him…..

Keep winning and +/- won't matter much.

That should be the main priority.

Cayless has been marred by injury, but before he left for the ESL he was quite a damaging prop. It's a shame to see him not reach his potential.

I said earlier on in the piece that Moors will hit his straps after he gains some match fitness due to his busted ankle he sustained last year playing for Penriff and he came good. I reckon if Cayless is given half a chance he could find the form once he strings a few games together. Being struck by injury and spending the last couple of years in the ESL would hurt anyone's chances at a successful NRL return.

I'd like to see him in State Cup first. He was as slow as a wet week earlier in the year. He'd want to be a lot more effective before he sees NRL game time.

Well thats a load of our minds….the only thing about bringing back that hazbeen is someone like Moops or Fafita will miss out on a spot......no thanks..cut him

Problem is that most people cast off that Moors would be a waste as well… He only needed match fitness...

If you want to be so dismissive of Cayless, go ahead, but I hope we give him an opportunity to regain his match fitness and make a fist of it... It would be a shame for it to end for him here...
