Centre Pairing - Brilliant :)

Lawrence and Ayshford are an awesome centre pairing and I wouldn't swap them for any other. Really developing a great partnership. I hope we lock Blake up to a long term contract too!

100% agree i think they are as good as one another.

Yeah I agree, strength on both sides of the field.
As said, both as good as each other.

I thought 1-5 were very good tonight.

1-7 and 9

Forwards need to step up. Slow play the balls, dropped balls and penalties costed us…Heighno stepped up when he was needed to.

Yep agree 100%.

Not only are they both exceptional in attack but their defence is equally as good - which is not common in centre's these days. Keep the good work up boys!

lawrence and ayshford were always going to be the future for the tigers in those positions.

funny it wasnt long ago quite a few people on this forum were saying ayshford is crap and shouldnt be in first grade!

Aysh is a future superstar - & some brainacs wanted him moved for Moltz!!!!!

(You know who you are!!!!!)

I'm still not sold on Ayshford in the centres. He looks slow at times.

In saying that he can play.

I think it's just natural, people see things differently.

probably the only person in the whole club that people haven't had knives out for is Woods and im sure he'll get his turn. he is young so consistancy may be an issue if he gets a lot of game time this year.

i can't recall any requests for farah to be shown the door however i didn't start reading these forums till 2005 so it wouldn't surprise me if some had him labeled for the scrap heap before then.

Ayshford and Lawrence clicked tonight, Great pairing, Also think the 6 & 7 will just get better and better, Lui really showing signs of greatness on the way, And well Benji is Benji, This backline will rule, watch this space.

He played good all night, however he played really well when he moved to lock and Moltzen to the centres. His future is in the forwards. Looks a ready made lock forward.

I am starting to think he would be better in the forwards than out wide however at other times I think of Gene Miles and how much alike him and Ayshford appear.

It is a tough one.

Forget the rest - Ayshford will become one of the best defensive centres running around.
Take a look at the finals series last year where he really came of age.
