CEO news

If Penrith are so cashed up and this guy has the talent that Ms Go has enthused about, why would they let him go after one year?

Given my already low opinion of WT Board decision making, I look forward to something positive that the new CEO does….ASAP!

They didn't let him go - he resigned.
Plus, he was head of RL over there, not CEO - so this is effectively a promotion for him, a step up the ladder if you will.

Are we do infatuated with Penrith's model?

Ok they did well last year after 2 years of rebuilding.

Now they look like winning the spoon and have players like Soward, Wallace and Idris that are out of form and favour.

A bit harsh there. They have 15 players in their squad sitting on the sidelines.

I heard Paul Kent say that Penriths spine of Soward, Moylan, Wallace and Segeyaro played a total of 11 minutes together for the season. It's no wonder they are struggling.

Contrast that with the Brincos whose spine has missed just one game.

Jesus, this bloke has only just been announced less than 24 hours ago and people are putting the toe in already.

Give him a chance!

Speaking of Jesus, some of the people on this forum would put the toe into him if given the chance. Never happy, never satisfied. Just crazy.

It does amaze me that so many people on this Forum are set to judge someone's suitability/ability before that person has even stepped into the role. And it would seem from some of these comments that their judgement is based purely on who appointed them and on some spurious assumptions as to why he may have left one club in order to join another.
It's ridiculous.
