Six jobs in six years in the states is that what I read???

From another article I saw somewhere I got the impression that he spent 6 years in the US working in one job, but as part of that job he was consulting to all those client companies.

Aaah I see thanks….though it reads that way I thought i couldnt possibly be seperate jobs as such

Yep I can confirm had a look at Linked In. He has been with Panthers 3 years and before that he was in the US for 3 and a half years with 1 Company that developed memorabillia related products so cases, card boxes, etc and obviously worked with those organisations in that job. He has also spent a few years in the UK and with the AFL before that

Seems like a good appointment and part of a good team with Moss. I would say Moss will run the football side with the coach as he has been and Pascoe will run the Money side

Good resume. Big leap to being the man with a target on his back at the Tigers.
Funny though Moss was his boss at the Panthers and Moss was overlooked for him at the Tigers.

I don't like the appointment at all. We need a guy who will stick with the job for a long long time. This guy has short term roles all over his CV. He's only been CEO of Penrith for just over a year. Why would they want him gone? You can bet if they wanted to keep him he's not gonna come work for this rabble.

He'll be here for 18 months I reckon. Sorry to be a sour grape.

Exactly….
They have done nothing about this and have now rushed the matter due to the farah affair

Phil Moss, Justin Pascoe and Matt Cameron all from Panthers under Gould.

Very odd turnover given how good they have been going off the field. Their recruitment and retention has been first class. Performance on the field has been understandable given injuries.

Interesting developments out further west.

Especially with the centre of excellence coming

Look I guess we shouldn't judge the bloke hasn't even started yet

Ill just say it.

Current board is a joke.

You can not run a football club with business decisions alone, you need good rugby league decisions and good decisions that suit your club and culture.

Lets hope they fluked it with this guy and he actually holds his own.

This is the pertinent point. We can't trust the judgement of our leadership as they are devoid of Rugby League experience. The guy was behind Gould and Warren Wilson good operators at Penrith.

He is really a completely UNTESTED CEO. Good luck to him he will need it.

We've had Rugby League decisions for the past 15 years, as I see it and look where we are. The crunch has finally come, business decisions are being made and not before time. Luck won't play any part in how Pascoe handles this job. All he needs to do is manage the club day to day and, most importantly, implement the policies of the board - all with a backdrop of unceasing complaints from fans and media.

The calls on this forum to have a broom put through the place have been loud and long over the years and we shouldn't complain now that it's happening.

Could have decided that the club was in the too hard basket following the recent further blowup and not taken the role, but will now be confronting it head on. Good luck.

If Penrith are so cashed up and this guy has the talent that Ms Go has enthused about, why would they let him go after one year?

Given my already low opinion of WT Board decision making, I look forward to something positive that the new CEO does….ASAP!

With you lot as supporters the poor bloke is on a hiding to nothing. Give the man a chance instead of making assumptions as to why he left Penrith.
