CEO - Shane Richardson

Maybe this is why people are so keen on new signings? To keep our momentum towards next season. I feel like one proven NRL player around his prime would be a step in the right direction. Taylan and KPP don't move me much, too much unproven. Taylan could just be another Jimmy the Jet or Jamal Idris.
No no no no no
I will be having nightmares now
“Jimmy & Jamal”

Seems to be a few people bagging Richo for this transfer fee etc...

I ask this question - IF you owned a business and had a staff member on a contract for another year and he advised he is leaving and wanted to leave early what would you do ?

1st up I would say no unless we got a replacement / better outcome for the business etc.. (same as what Richo did)

But over the next month this person put in a bullying claim, Bag the coaching and development staff, brought the morale down as players seem to be walking on eggshells, etc..

As a business would you still want to keep him here just for your Ego / pride etc ??

The feedback you are getting from the senior staff is the morale is dropping and they don't want to keep working with him??

I'm just asking what people would do as I believe we have the best CEO in the business and if he thinks this is the best outcome I support him as I'm sure he has seen this rodeo before. He would also know what we can really get in return (people won't want to hear that as we are all experts here but not as experienced as him) plus he might have another player/s lined up not with Galvin's chosen club so no swap deals.

Yep, sure him and his manager get what they wanted but I can only assume if we said no again they would throw another problem at us. We are not the only club this happens to but because the media love us for clickbaits we get it dragged out in media every day.

Just give Richo time as you cannot turn over a roster in 12 months.

At the end of the day the Galvin matter will never be tenable to last the duration of his contract as he will continue to agitate for a release via his manager be it bullying or if dropped to fit in our future Latu Fainu, thus keeping the club in clickbait territory.

I at first wanted him to be playing #18 in FG ( no game time ) or Reggie's out of spite for his unacceptable comments about the club that has given him a chance so early in his career, however in the light of day we are better off having a team that are wanting to play together and he has been a very disruptive figure for a rookie 19 year old with only 31 FG games. Even as a Tigers supporter I am sick of hearing nothing but Galvin stories and once gone it can be someone else's problem.

If he goes to Parra I cannot see him overcalling Moses and it will likely see him get the spray that Moses gives. I just see him imploding the culture at the Dogs if he goes there as Romey and Critta are very close and he would know what is happening here as players talk.

Richo needs to share some positive news as the last few weeks have been very poor by the team and club and a few decent signings would get the supporters geared up for the second half of the competition to push for a top 8 spot.

He didn't say that though. He flat out said the club had no intention of releasing Galvin from the remainder of his contract that runs until the end of next season.

Nothing was mentioned about an "outcome".

No, but they know me.

Im on the "ignore" list.

I promise i will post up the response.
No response.

If the membership is such a hassle, Im now thinking we could probably get away with completely doing away with it.

Redeploy membership staff to focusing on sourcing revenue from other areas.

We could set up businessss and have the staff work in those.

A labour hire business even.

Im not the only one feeling left at the altar.

I know last time I poked fun at how much you emailed Richo and you accused me of bullying, so I want to say up front, this is not meant to be mean-spirited.

Are you asking him questions or just forcing your opinion down his throat expecting him to engage?

I don't know what the tone of your emails are, but from how you describe the content, it's possible your approach could have something to do with it. From what I can gather, it is mainly negative views on a variety of club matters.

Considering how sensitive you have become in the past, if you apply feeling you had to the people you are emailing, perhaps they feel harassed or bullied? Is that a possible explanation for being blocked?

Like @BZN, i dont ask too much from the club given what i plough into it.

We dont keep our promises and the buck stops with Richo.

Hes not all good or all bad...but the membership experience has got to the point where i am wondering why we even have one.

For the mid-year review, if they do it properly, they will invite us members to contribute and get our views. Include us in the loop so to speak.

But they wont because they dont take us seriously.

Whoever is in charge of membership, from my perspective, they arent exactly across their brief.

The membership is broad and includes people from all walks of life with a lot to offer. From the poorest pensioner eating petfood tonight to the multi. We should stretch out that paw to all.

What a 💩'y excuse to cover up bullying @TSP.... calling it poking fun at someone.
