Maybe it's just me but I have this feeling the real destination club has yet to enter.
Until I heard from someone close to the family early in the year that he was “going back to eels” roosters was alway my pick.

Cronk has always been over the top with his compliments. Roosters fit the narrative about coaching, development, positioning, success etc.

Yep our signings will drop once Galvin is sorted hopefully today or early Monday so no more interference with the nrl team, one out three in.

Always look on the bright side of life …

So KPP…. Who are the other two? Taylan not coming apparently
Roosters and this will be their spine in a year.
1 Manu
6 Galvin
7 Walker
9 Robson

They are a shifty club with Brown bags going everywhere.

I just want Galvin out of here yesterday

DCE is already signed there

Roosters don't need him they are building nicely with some great talent and with Galvin you get his manager.
Signing the "next big thing" comes with prestige. It's like marking your territory especially when there are big names involved from other clubs. Tedesco has a new manager now?

The problem is that Galvin is not a proven home run like say Teddy for example was … there is still some questions about him … the Roosters might sign him the next time after they know for sure one way or the other …

For abundant caution and respect, i will entertain your thesis, however remote the proposition is that he will find enlightenment.

Im afraid its a game too far for Benji.
I think we need to change our perspective just a little. Benji is serving his apprenticeship now. What should have occurred in a lower grade under a proven coach has been playing out in first grade without the benefit of a mentor. It's a ridiculously tough ask. But none-the-less, one that he was either happy to take on, or one that was foisted upon him.
Do we now 'ask' him to withdraw gracefully from the scene and waste last year and this? I think I would rather risk him continue his apprenticeship for the remainder of the year and re-appraise his skillset next year. By then he will have either developed sufficiently to be considered at least a serviceable first grade coach, (hopefully more than that), or a fellow who needs find alternate employment.

They don't need the Galvin circus - that's not Roosters style. I will be surprised if they would engage with Moses given the manner in which this has played out - will know soon enough.
Uncle Nick can't stand Moses's guts, plus just had a browse at their roster doubt they need him.
Plus Robinson isn't dumb he can see that wonder boy is going to grow out of his position.

A fair argument, thanks.

As to the "waste" concern, hes been of use in recruiting some talent, so his tenure hasnt been a complete disaster.

As to his ongoing development as a coach, all things equal, im not seeing enough at the momemt to suggest he will break though.

We should be making discrete enquiries elewhere for 27 at least. We dont have to act.

Benji is wealthy, he is personable and has plenty of employment options post coaching. This is not life or death for him.

There’s two stories out there. That one and the one where he helped i-sack back into the league. Politis also signed a generational fullback who secured them two premierships and the Kangaroos captaincy from the I-sack stable.

I suggest they both do what’s best for themselves.

If wonder boy goes to the roosters, I'll eat my hat, Mmm hope I don't regret that statement being so bold can bite you on the arse on this forum lol.

If he is going to be here that long, we should invite him to attend some fitness sessions occassionally.
He is looking as rough as hell.
Couldn't be worse than when he first walked through the door.

Looked like he'd robbed Vinnies and KFC all in one.

He's actually on the improve there, slowly, I think.
