You can have your opinion about “trusting the management “ and I’ll have mine … I’ve respected Richo’s resume but that doesn’t mean he is automatically going to have the same success here

I need to see him do something … it’s been very quiet since Turuva and this team needs a lot of overhaul …and not much seems to be happening in comparison to some of their competitors

We can all get rid of players…particularly the top half dozen that are actually attractive to other clubs …but signing competent replacements and improving the squad and ultimately winning more games is much more difficult…

You are fully entitled to want to see the outcomes before believing. I can respect that.

I only mentioned Naden as he highlighted my point about players taking the piss. Paps wasn’t providing US marquee player efforts in my view.

The story isn’t written yet, I’ll be upset if one of our current back up options comes off the bench in Rd 1 2025. That money needs to be reinvested.

My issue is that the team is weaker for him leaving …and there appears to have been no replacement in waiting ….

It’s interesting that the three time premiers moved like a rat up a drainpipe to acquire him … I wonder why they think they can get something out of him next year .. but we can’t …even with Luai coming ?

And my point is to find the replacement player first and then let him go…

It might work out in the end… but at the moment all you are doing is further weakening the worst team in the comp

I feel tyour frustration; however, I am banking on the loose lips sinks ships policy that has been instituted means that we are in advanced negotiations with a player/players or have a deal done that we don't want to announce.

ICE leaving was kept quiet until the deal was done as was Tito Taruva coming the other way. Was there something done between the clubs and the player managers to facilitate that happening. We just don't know. Under the old regime this would all be playing out in the media - now it appears to be a closed shop. Which is good.

From the outside looking in it appears that we aren't active in the market. I'm willing to bet that we are and if what Richo said about a deal being off the table if it is leaked may be pulling player managers into line. Richo hasn't been successful by shying away from contraversy or pandering to fans. The statement by Richo about being cashed up and ready to casue havoc in the market if we lose Stef may have been a bit of Bravado - but I don't doubt that they have a plan - and they aren't about to leak it.

At this stage I am aprehensive, but have faith that these chess moves are to enable a play to unfold to benefit the club - not sure who or what. I could well be disapointed - but I'm a Wests Tigers supporter so I have experienced a bit of that before and I'm still around.

Pascoe left us a mess paying millions for players who don’t contribute. Not Paps.

Wrong wrong wrong , 3 players for backrow isn’t enough, we lost Bateman and papa for a long period, samual is a gun in the making but he is only young he shouldn’t be carrying the backrow , this club thinks u just fill the 6 forwards and it’s all good , u need backups on

'Big Joe' is a no more than a solid first grader. He would be handy right now, but with some comments that are being made about him you'd reckon he was David Fafita Mk2.

He might be playing at 75 % , but we don’t have replacements that can even reach the number

I agree depth is a major issue, maybe the biggest issue. A 750K backrower is a waste of money if he’s your depth.

Have u ever played in a team in a good grade
The reason I ask , a remember going to a team that chased me , I signed for them , but before the season started 3 of the best players left , the club refused to chase replacements and brought in kids , I tried to give my best but my heart wasn’t in it , I left at the end of the year , I felt I had been let down . My papa had the same experience, just my story

I don’t blame Stef or Paps for wanting to play in a strong system. People only ever talk about legends who played in successful teams. No doubt they both want a premiership.

But in Richo’s defense, he won’t turn this club around with want away players.
 
Ice i see as a typical Parramatta player. You look at how they’ve played this year without Moses he’s been the same since he got here. Without a great half next to him he’s average and doesn’t have much impact.

Ur missing the point , if the Tigers continued to strengthen there team this may well not happen, take the dogs , they where on the bottom as well, yet they keep adding to there squad , we bought two good backrowers but with no backup , this is where our club falls down
