what ever unfolds,n i dont care who/what they were b4 as i have no control over it,but with Richo if he stays healthy should quitely drag us out of this mire,Has Richo ;s office responded 2 u n Wolfie woof woof yet,plz keep us updated about that .lol
Well, going off his head at the giggling players was appropriate on behalf of Richo.

I would have had security throw them out.

All the fans and members were totally devastated by the score. I was.

I can’t imagine players at other clubs doing that.

The players seem to think we are here for their benefit. It’s the other way around.

Kum by yah. Night is falling in Thailand, forum buddies on the prowl….

Careful what you wish for.
If they went back to the Magpies one of the new clubs will pick up the Tigers name and we would lose close to 90% of the fans.
Anyone under 30 only knows the ‘Tigers’ and I’d guess a majority of the older generation would have been Balmain supporters.
ye its all fun n games.1 thing the NRL,at the time wouldnt bend on is the logo, its in the paper work that the WT's will only exixt that way.Didnt all the clubs sell colours ,logo's over to the NRL on the 2nd salary cap hand out,so anything is possible

We are in review mode aren’t we?

I’d prefer we outsourced it to do it properly as people are reluctant to be brutally honest when asked about their efforts and like to spin or blame others.

Usually in these big organisations ( as @Tucker would know) the results are pre determined, one or two scapegoats for the optics and the senior folk making the important yet bad decisions slip through any management tackles easily.

Lee and Co set a very high standard for unaccountability which I think will be duly passed on as a matter of upholding our rich and glorious culture in such matters.

I’m going to bet the dog the physios are finished. They almost always get their heads blown off as they can be speared easily and they are tantalisingly close to the annual injury issues.

Then the new physio’s are trumpeted as having more experience and being capable, which they are usually not, until they get butchered in due course.

A bit like a cicada, who spends 7 years underground, has a few days of insect fun before being eaten by a bird. A friend of mine once told me it was a “good life.”

Lee n Co/high standards of accountability is an oxymoron ,right,?Usually the more top heavy is management, the more corrupt are their decisions ,ps cicada's taste like chicken

Yeah, tongue firmly in cheek and sarcastic licence.

Lee and the board should have stood down voluntarily, passed the baton on, because they were awful.

Resurrecting Tim, made no sense at all other than a fairy tale and all bets were off once he appointed himself. He said he was approached by the board to coach, but he should have refused.

It was at that point that this “power corrupts” theory applied to us.

Richo update:-

Almost every day it seems I get something from membership calling for an investment, but 6 weeks have gone past since I was promised a response from Richo. That’s been acknowledged by membership too, I sent them a reminder. But still nothing.

If I was a voting member and had any say, I would have got an answer.

Instead our ceo thinks it’s more important to congratulate a player from a rival club than to respond to members.

On the one hand, he wants members and on the other hand he wants to indulge himself.

I’ve said it many times, Richo is not God and he’s not the devil.

I Do know Richo was unhappy with the debacle on Friday but could not imagine him blowing up in public, could imagine him in the sheds or in his office later on.
Exactly, any decent CEO would find a nice quiet space to speak to any underperforming executives or staff. Not on the sideline when the coaches are 100 metres away.
Maybe showed some disgust/ disappointment but he’s only human. We were rubbish and you can’t sugar cost that. Sounds like a real beat up to me.

Tbf, not too much happening rn for our club, good to get memberships open as early as possible, for members to bring up the idea of a 2025 membership for a birthday/Christmas gift. Me personally, I like I’m getting emails everyday and it’s not always about purchasing stuff, might just be my first year membership experience tho, but I enjoyed seeing the French u19s email and Galvin ROTY, while the renew your membership has gotten me to renew for 2025 next week

Yes, we seem to be at opposite ends of the membership spectrum.

I’m ok you’re happily dining out on club news and youre content.

And the fact you’ve signed on, I can take your comments much more seriously. I salute thee.

But as you can see, I expect more.

And if the spoon isn’t bad enough and the catastrophic mayhem of the recent seasons, I think it’s up to Richo and his entourage to take members requests and concerns very seriously.

And if he’s out there trying to encourage new memberships with promises of occasional communications to him, my experience is that he’s simply not being candid about it.

Now I can appreciate when he promises things that he might truly believe in and they fail but…..when he’s got things in his control he doesn’t deliver on, it’s in the clubs best interests that he should be called out.

Weve had enough of subterfuge and idiots thinking they are in a James Bond movie at the club, we need truth and transparency in about as many things as we can manage ( ie without compromising our roster ambitions etc).

If he’s not going to engage with members, he should just tell us so we aren’t wasting out time. Do us a favour instead of being selfish and slack.

Never settle for second best in these matters I think. Especially as a club member. We may at be unyielding and resolute.

Being apathetic and happy clappers gave us the Lee tenure and everything we didn’t want. We can’t let the club down again.

And being a member, yes, as @Merlot spoke to that for me.

I don't know if his health has had an impact on his ability to be more engaged with members, but I have seen him at events making genuine effort to engage with people.

I don’t doubt this at all. Just sharing my own experience.

And a change of pace, hopefully Richo has all the tools and best of fortune to keep Galvin with us at an affordable rate.

I bet he will sit Luai down and scheme that one out.

We watch the Panthers at full tilt, JL is always at or near the best of them. Plus he keeps improving. He’s unbelievable.

The depth in their attack, their number of strike, is amazing.
