In fairness, it's a new team from 2-3 years ago and we lost Galvin midway through this year.

I think it's fair to criticise towards the end of next year if things haven't changed.

By that time, he's coming to the end of his contract anyway.

Also, be prepared for lots of good players to leave if they do give him the bullet. I hope we don't knife the coach, then criticise the club for losing good players because of it, because a new coach will be another "rebuild". We've seen it all before.
We are constantly rebuilding. What happens when recruitment is poor & you can’t identify & retain your best juniors

This side is entirely new.

And then the spine got reset with Latu and Luai being the likely future halves now.

People don't want to hear it, but we haven't even started a single game with our short/mid term spine yet and won't for another few weeks.

This 'rebuild' is in its first year, whether people want to admit it or not.

The fact we're stumbling and bumbling through combinations and too many kids and poor cohesion with an inexperienced head coach and upending our halves combo mid season and key injuries and suspensions and poor depth and several large holes still in the roster and STILL a couple of dropped balls away from being in the eight is more an indictment of the other teams around us.

How would Souths be feeling? The best coach of the modern era with the likes of Arrow, Latrell, Walker, Wighton, Keon, Graham, etc and they're below us.
As called out be Richo our spine of Bula, Galvin, Luai & Api are one of the best in the league.

The fact our spine has been reset was Richos choice. We had all of them under contract until the end of next year.

Bula will go when his contract is up, Luai will not be here in 2028.

Start preparing the next round of excuses around why we are continually a losing side & no one with any talent wants to stay.

We are competitive. Can exert 15 minutes of pressure on opponents line and are defending better.

Unfortunately the structures and skills are still shit and a decent defensive team can score 14 points and beat us.
Maybe. Penrith also held dogs to 6. Are their structures bad?

Dogs held Penrith to 8 in the same game. Are their structures bad?

If any team gets held to a low score are their structures bad?

I dunno....how far do you want to go with this?

If everyone takes a step back and looks at today vs 12 months ago, hopefully they see us moving in the right direction. The path to success is windy, not linear. Being upset about 1 or 2 things along the way takes the focus off the bigger picture.
Yeah good point.
4 & 11 this time last year.
5 & 10 this year.
At this rate, we’ll make the finals again somewhere round 2032-33.
Hold on to your hats ladies and gents…we’re on a rocket ship

Yes.

These are hard facts that a lot of people are simply unwilling to face up to.

As the losses continue to mount, the good faith we put in the new board, Richo and the club staff isn’t being repaid.

I thought about it this week and Ive concluded it’s best we part ways with the Richo/Benji project. The signs are that they are incompetent and ineffective.

They haven’t got a clue.

It’s rapidly approaching a Lee and Pascoe level of buffoonery and nonsense.

We deserve better.

I think we need a club meeting to tell the experts running our club they are a nuisance and should resign.

Clear the joint out of diseased matey.

If that costs us a few big names players, so be it.

I'm not excusing anything.

I'm running through a list of things that happened.

Oh come on. We were being blown off the park last year. Lazy argument. I expect better from you.

Benji is the worst coach in the nrl.

The only people who can’t see that is our board.

Because they don’t understand football. It’s out of their lane.

What they excel in is making crap decisions that keeps our club on its knees.

And keeping the Mates Act in force and well policed.

Robbie stood up to the love language and was murdered on the spot.

We are looking like a retirement village for spent panthera.

I dont think Benji gets to start again …unfortunately for him … he might not want to hear that …but I suspect he gets told it this offseason… get them to mid table next year or you will be gone
And by that point it'd be fair enough I reckon.

It's his squad this year and next, you don't get more than a couple of genuine cracks at simply making the eight, fail, and get away with it.

He would've had everything go his way from recruitment to staff selections.

Probably deserves it at that point.

I think he gets next year to show something considerable.

newscaste came 11th after their three consecutive spoons in 2018 so there’s still time to see where we land on the ladder

He doesn’t want to be a coach, he wants to be a player. Too old and can’t play. Can’t coach either

Apart from Turuva & Sam which of those were first graders.
Da Silva ain't a first grader yet.

Sione and Latu are in the first grade team right now and Latu was injured and had Galvin in front.

You're not making a very convincing argument around the Tigers just letting go of swathes of talent with nothing in return.

We kept Pole...Seyfarth, Doueihi had a detour and came back. Does Jahream count?

I've backed up everything I've said with clear examples and you come to me with this? Come on...you can do better.

I think he wants to be cool like Fonzie.

He doesn’t realise people laugh at him and make fun of him behind his back.

He’s the coaching jester of the NRL. The village idiot.

I’m thinking for some new tigers merch, we can do a stuffed Richo teddy bear thing and you pull the string at the back and he can give his war story about signing Ben Teo back in 2013 on a train and trial. Glory days Richo.

.

Reports Benji spending half his time showing off his deft hands at training, making players feel inadequate. All very strange.

For the clubs sake, Benji needs to swallow his pride, admit his shortcomings and step down.

I don’t think we can afford another year of his coaching incompetence.

It’s been a waste of time and resources.

I volunteer to thank Benji for his service, and advise him we are looking at different options for next year and beyond.

We should tell him early so he can start looking for another job. He’d be a fine “good old boy” on fm radio, plenty of toilet jokes and what happened on tour.

I’ll sort it Richo. I love the club, no need to pay me.
