I’m sure you are aware the guy was responsible for the worst trade in sporting history getting rid of Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis. This is exactly what we need
Sounds like he’d be a perfect for us then!

I only saw one of those comments in this thread I think, but didn't know before.I really wanted Richo to stay and think it is a big step backwards for the club. However , I do recall several comments on this forum from people unhappy with him signing Players connected to his son that didn’t deserve it etc
If HBG are offering compensation, please tell me where to apply.
The thing about footy is that different people have different opinions.
At the end of the day, we did just as bad under Richo as we have under previous CEOs.
Yes @liltiger we were definitely on the up, maybe not as far up as most would have liked, but you only have to go to the media that have derided and ridiculed the Wests Tigers for so long, but even they could see in recent times that we were on the rise and most of them have actually acknowledged the fact.No we havnt, everyone could see we were on the up.
We aren't interested in any bull crap you write you watched the interview all the minutes from board meetings are documented. Thanks for putting this on here TS.
Richo is one of the last 'old school' types no doubt about that.
I thought he articulated his thoughts very well.
Just wish I could have 'heard' the thoughts of the Journos.
Richo said the allegations against him were from a really dopey journo and a really dopey whistleblower and are total b/s.
We can all jump at shadows and rant and rave about this and other things going on over the last few days.
There's probably a dozen different scenarios as to why Richo left WT's so quickly.
The same with BOF and the sacked board members.
But how many of us actually know the true facts at this point in time.
It will probably all come out in the wash, and hopefully sooner rather than later.
And this is similar to what @Vicious was trying to tell all of us.
But as you weren't hearing from him what you wanted to hear, a lot of y'all treated him with disdain, and that was very sad and very unfair to see.
Arthur Laundy is a Balmain supporter, Craig (his son) is a doggie supporter and sponsor. Its my understanding he was a Tigers supporter.
In some ways your are worse off than the browns , as your stuck in mid table purgatory.Always liked Mayfield. After Big Ben retired I really wanted the Steelers to chase Mayfield. Opportunity lost IMO.
Not if the price is right. Everyone has a price! Question is, will anyone pay that price? The issue is , the club would make money on the sale but the debenture gimps wouldn't make a cent and would lose the only thing they have which is power . So no way they ever vote to let that happen.
He’s available 😜I’m sure you are aware the guy was responsible for the worst trade in sporting history getting rid of Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis.

I'm with you Dazza. been following the tigers for 58 years and now have lost interest in the whole deal. If the club does'nt care , why should the fans? Can’t believe im saying this after 56 years, but I’m one foot out the door( not even bitter anymore, just numb)….
Arthur was invited to a Balmain board meeting.many years back...just to observe.Arthur Laundy is a Balmain supporter, Craig (his son) is a doggie supporter and sponsor.
It will be a good year.Me too, I was looking forward to 2026 being a good year, absolutely gutted, this is so unfair for the supporters.
No one jumps at shadows or rants and raves more than youThanks for putting this on here TS.

I can't blame Richo for going, in fact iv actually gained respect for him by going. If he stays he's just doing what he's told and then just becomes the face of someone else's decisions who hasn't got a clue. By going he's maintaining his integrity. It is his professional reputation that gets damaged if the muppets in the boardroom keep using us as their personal toy while he's just the face in front of the camera protecting them, while HBG are around atm, that's the only type of CEO we will have. By walking Richo kept his integrity in tact by not compromising.Yes @liltiger we were definitely on the up, maybe not as far up as most would have liked, but you only have to go to the media that have derided and ridiculed the Wests Tigers for so long, but even they could see in recent times that we were on the rise and most of them have actually acknowledged the fact.
You can't blame Richo for leaving as he said all along that he would only stay while he had an independent board and probably smart to go if there is a payout owing.
If indeed there is a payout coming his way, there is no way that would happen if HBG were of the opinion that there had been any wrong doing on his part and they would know full well that the whole whistle blower thing is a beat up.
I still think back to when Richo first took on this challenge and hearing him say on numerous occasions that this was going to be an easier task than some of the others that he had taken on in the past, and I thought, "mate, do you really know what you're up against here."
Clearly he was emotional and upset to walk away from what he had started and to most it looks like he failed and that he has walked away a beaten man, but who really knows, after all it's hard to get the feed bag off an old horse and he's still feeding.
Droppy, we need to be doing that anyway. HBG has to go.If things are not sorted out before season starts and we lose Luai and/or Bulla we should boycott home games at Campo and Leichhardt. That's where it hurts these mongrels running HBG.
Only instance I could see him staying is if they elect more independent board members but the fact he’s leaving to me says that won’t happen.I can't blame Richo for going, in fact iv actually gained respect for him by going. If he stays he's just doing what he's told and then just becomes the face of someone else's decisions who hasn't got a clue. By going he's maintaining his integrity. It would be the greatest up yours in history to that director if he was to buy the club. Power moveArthur was invited to a Balmain board meeting.many years back...just to observe.
One director basically insulted him quesstioning why he was there, made him feel very uncomfortable
