Changing of the guard

A sign that a team is on the rise is that regular first graders from the previous year become ISP players in the current year.

Are we on the rise? If so, which 2018 first graders will be ISP bound in 2019?

If they are fighting for positions it can't be a bad thing

Unfortunately Corey Thompson is the undeserved one …...forwards hard to tell without seeing how many have shaped up in the off season , Benji if Reynolds is fit

Have a feeling that there will be a bit of a clean out at the end of this year with the retirement of Marshall and Farah.

Madge will have opportunity to remold this squad for next with Josh Aloiai, Michael Chee-Kam, Mahe Fonua, Tyson Gamble, Luke Garner, Chris Lawrence, Jacob Liddle, Sam McIntyre, Thomas Mikaele, Robbie Rochow, Dylan Smith and Corey Thompson completing their playing contract.

But whats a contract nowadays …... so Eiso, ET and McQueen can be added to the watch this space list.

Even if all those players go, it does not create a lot of cap room. Most would need to be replaced by players on minimum contracts.

The four development players also come into the top 30.

Wests Tigers are pleased to confirm that the club's Intrust Super Premiership captain Luke Garner has moved into the Top 30 squad for the remainder of 2018, and has had his contract extended for a further two seasons.

Luke Garner signed until end 2020..
