Chee Kam - Our best centre 2016

Michael Chee Kam has something we have lacked in our centres for awhile - size.

I would love to see him in the centres in 2016 as I think he has the the ability to be our strike centre making a major impact next year.

He has the pace, size and whats more the skill to really add something to our backline going forward. He has great hands which will really to Simona or whoever adding a few more 4 pointers.

We will get more value out of him in the backs rather than making him a forward replacement as most people seem to suggest.

We are so light on for first graders gatorman, maybe we could ask him to train really hard and play both positions at the same time. Seriously though, I agree with you.

He will be in the 17,and centre is a possibility, but I think he will be a bench player, good impact and covers a lot of positions

Simona is our man
but Chee-Kam is gun, endless possibilities with him…

I'm thinking he's the first choice benchie each week.
Very versatile player and can cover most positions if needed.

Simona is a walk in with regards to one centre spot and I think Naiqama is as well. Chee Kam will have to be a gun to get one of those spots.

The only way around that is if Simona moves to the wing but I doubt that will happen.

Chee-Kam is a backrower who can play centre at a pinch. He lacks outright pace to excel as a centre.

Chee Kam is a talented utility with updide.
He is likely to be useful, and a role player, don't think he'll be a star .
He'll probably cop a hammering on here, he isn't flashy and not a physical player, those guys get a hard time on here.

I think if he can crack a regular bench spot with good game time then that will be a great start for him in 2016\. Why put the pressure on him of being the next great centre…...

I see him as a bench player to start the season. Simona and Kev first shot at Centres for mine.

X2, but if one of the centres is forced off with injury then I feel more confident in Chee Kam playing in the centres off the bench than Lovett moving to the centre position!

Lovett should be no where near the NRL unless we have heaps of injuries.

Chee Kam is at his third club and was highly rated in the lower grades at the Raiders.

I wonder how far Marion Seve is off NRL standard. Maybe he should start in State Cup to play against the big boys and build on from there.

Bench player that can cover effectively back row and centre….what one of the many things we lacked in 2015.

Bench; Ava, Chee kam, cherrington, another prop
