Ive no problems with Heighno & Ryan being punted, my concern is who theyre replaced with

Don't worry Ink ,Sheens has a new idea

He is going to replace players with assistant coaches for 2013

Beau and Rhino for Roycie and Fittler

Ryan does try hard and loves the club , but he might be a disturbance for the other guys with joking and stuff.

What a retarded thing to say….you want to sack the bloke because he has a personality?

I didn't say i have a problem with that side of him but maybe Sheens does.

Personally I don't mind moviving a few players on if it means we re-sign Robbie and Liam.

I would hate to think if Hino was was resigned we would miss out re-signing Farah or Fulton.

I have no problems with any of these decisions. Yeah its a shame the way its happened but what can you do.

Heighno is no significant loss but I fail to believe the Sharks would offer him a three year deal when they already have Gallen, J.Smith, Lewis and Tupou in the back row???

On Ryan , while I like him, I can't see this being a loss thats going to come back to bite us. Im prepared to put time into Koroibete and Nofolomu as our wingers. Ryan can only hinder this, and despite what some people think, i don't believe Ryan is good enough to play centre. If for whatever reason those two don't work we have Grant and Utai. Plus if they all failed, theres reserve grade players….its only the wing! How many wingers do you need in a squad? Its a tough call and Ryan had a pretty good year, but its not as bad a decision as people think.

Agreed I would prefer to keep Fulton and I think we have enough back rowers and no way we could give him a 3 yr contract he is being offered so letting him go seems the best thing for both Chris and the club and isn't that what we all want. Given the sharks are about to loose smith, tupou has been injured a lot and won't get the same money again so will prob head to the uk himself -so Highno is a good signing for them although 3 yrs is a long time

I'm all for a clean out, it's just a matter of who we move on. Beau would be one of the last on my list… I'd say seeyalater to

Heighno
Moltzen
Ayshford
Groat
Reddy

I guess the issue with a few of these guys is they are under contract and who would want them (I.E - Reddy).

While I don't think much of Moltzen and Ayshford, I guess the issue is we are quite shallow in those positions (Particularly in ayshfords case). I guess in Beaus case, we have 4 or so wingers who are capable.

People have been a little hard on Ayshford, he was shocking but he had a lot of mates. I'm keen to give him another yr to see how he bounces back

The players i'd let go:
Moltzen
Groat
Reddy
Heigno

Groat is only a kid and a prop at that so there is no way i would punt him props usually take years to develop.i cant argue about Moltz or reddy though one is years past his best and the other has nothing

Gibbs had just signed a 3 year deal last year and was booted. Ryan is apparently on contract too. Contracts these days aren't worth the paper they're written on.

I agree with the centres depth. Maybe keep Ayshford around and let's see how he goes under a new coach. He looked very disinterested this year

Todays papers mentions the WTs interested in Fittler as an Assistant Coach.

With Sheens keen on Royce this takes away some of his power, shows that his position of strength in the club is diminishing

Tupou had an option in his favour for 2013 which he activated.

This is just BS…well before Moltzen resigned.....Ryan agrees to a 3 year deal....then we find out he cant sign due to salary cap issues....afterwards the Tigers resign Tim Moltzen to 2013 and beyond...I thought there were salary cap issues???....The club is spinning us BS and treating players like dirt!

No their not. Heino has been great for the WT's but any fool can see that his time has come.

Rather than playing him off the bench (maybe) for one more season and then letting him go,
they are allowing him to pick up a three year contract which can only benefit himself.

They are in fact looking after him.

Now Moltzen on the other hand should be long gone before
any thought is given to releasing Ryan.

Pretty dumb signing by cronulla if you ask me because luke lewis will take heighingtons spot at the sharks every week, he will be coming off the bench every week. I wonder where beau ryan will go, now it is time to get rid of reddy, groat and ayshford, i have also heard that junior moors is going to the melbourne storm which will be good for our salary cap because apparently we are close to signing brent kite.

Haha Moors a fringe first grader
Kite an ex origin and international…...and it will be good for our cap????

Fullback, Front Row and Centre are 3 positions we're we have little depth, on the otherhand we have plenty or good wingers coming through and plenty of back rowers, I love Beau and Heighno but lets be realistic we have better players in there positions.
