Chris Lawrence is done

Seriously he is DONE. Over. He should retire effective immediately. He has no right to get picked again. I don't care if there's nobody else available, it's just painful as hell to watch him now.

4 runs for 23 metres, 4 errors and a penalty conceded for a guy that used to cut teams to pieces every week. He is over.

I know that, you know that, the whole of the forum knows that and every other WT supporter not on the forum knows that, but you can bet your balls he will line up in first grade again next week - sad, but true.

the cupboards are that bare that we really dont have any other options. Im far from a Lawrence fan, though he wasnt the only lemon out there…

I sadly agree with the OP. He's a shadow of his former self and the Chris Lawrence we knew in 2010 is gone.

What's new? He's been done since 2012….

Can someone tell me the last time he beat his outside man? Early in the Warriors semi 2011 is the last time I can remember.....

Definitely wouldn't shift him to the backrow either.....We've been dogged by soft, powderpuff back-rowers for years (Sironen and Blair of recent times) the last thing we need's a light hack with little or no credentials in that position....

These Sheens, Lawrence, Heighno etc. long term contracts should be a massive learning curve for the club.....They've all in their own particular ways stifled the club.....

I really hope he is not at WT next year injury has made him a liability.I would hate to see him finish his career with another 2 awful years and the derision he would get each week. he deserves much better than that.

I hope this season will be his final chance, enough is enough, for a player paid 300K+ he offers buckleys :frowning:
Sad.
This season our centers Lawrence and Lulia are not just the worst in NRL, they would be lucky to play NSW cup :frowning:

The sympathy that i've always had for him is very slowly disappearing. Who do you blame though? him, cos he's on good coin, i know i wouldn't walk away from that, or the club, who if they had the brain of a dung beetle, would realize the time has to shop him around and move him on.

I agree his pace has deserted him. (I think he held a state record as kid for the 100) but that is ancient history. At the moment, if I had to pick between Sirro and Rowdy I would take Rowdy. He is not afraid to take a hit up and hits harder than anyone else in the team front on.

Maybe his backline days are over but wouldn't totally discard him yet

The difference between Souths and the Tigers 3/4 s ,Souths have young ,strong and dynamic guys the Tigers have yesterday's heroes , side note Sheens was right about Simona has had 2 good games in 2 seasons.

Lote looked like Rowdy does now, when he was with us.
Look at Lote now
Look at Rowdy

Thanks chris

None of these players are deliberatley playing crap, a dysfunctional club with minimal facilities - the bare essentials…we need help big time

Chris was done the day his hip dislocated.

In the real world there is not a state cup team he would be selected for. Hell he can't even make ours
