Chris Lawrence to Sharks??

Lawrence against the Warriors showed me he can still be valuable to us he showed glimpses that he's getting closer to the player he was. There's not many centres that can run a hole like he can and not many people can stop him close to the line when he does, his defence let's him down when he flies out of the line but that's the gamble when you do that you either shut the play down with a ball n all tackle or you look like a goose. Its just his decision making and timing he needs to fix.

Lawrence has been a defensive liability since his injury and his pace is gone forever imo. Every time he pushes hard the hemmy goes.

Its very sad as I remember the bloke who could smoke Billy Slater.. one of the best in the game.

I'm agnostic on him staying or going.

hahahaha defence… seriously, Lawrence has been responsible for more try assists this year than any other Tiger, too bad they were for the opposition... the repeated up and in, too slow, too late, allowing over-laps, actually going out of his way to create them, has been despicable at the very least.

Lawrence at centre is the same as Benji in the halves... Its not like there are many players capable of doing any worse on present form, so anyone who fills the gap next season would have to be totally and utterly inept to not at the very least keep on par with either of them.

Id rather play against Chris Lawrence on current form , love to see him come screaming out of the line and Simona make him look foolish

And in attack , he might make the occasional break , but Blair or Buchanan could run him down

No dramas with this move if it turns out to be true. Lawrence unfortunately will never be the same player he once was after that hip dislocation. His defence this year has been atrocious, and is attack, well it's bog average with his speed being no better than that of a backrower.

I think we're all being synical here, since potter has been at the helm we have only really made 3 new signings. None of whom will be expensive.

All this new money will need to be used wisely, and due to the players available for 2014, may not be wise to enter the market now. Rather hold out for the right player for the club!

Exactly thats why our ceo said were going to the market hard next year we have the cash but more big name players are off contract next year to sign. Btw we bought 4 players not 3.

I am completely fine with Chris leaving. With Richards on board now and koro, Simona , noff.

No probs.

Since his injury he has been completely different. No speed. Defensively can be costly. And over the last few years he has been one of those players picked regardless of form.
