Has lost everything everything that once made him a reserve australian centre!
no speed, no footwork
still doesnt seem fit, has even lost his notable hit in defense, lacks lateral movement and isnt really hampered by injuries anymore, im afraid his days are over, needs replacing, but then again, so does about half of this pathetic squad

I don't see this. He didn't get many chances and defensively I thought he was good. Way too early in the season to state that he needs to go.

He got a few chances and, on at least one of them, he dropped the flat ball, as he usually does. He grabbed in defence and, as he always does, if he made a tackle, he turned his back and jogged back into the defensive line; basically with the body language of like "well, I've done my bit". Combined with similar apathetic efforts from Woods and Farah, this guy was poor. Will there be consequences? I doubt it.

He just didn't receive any quality ball today as our go forward disappeared seemingly when our smallest forward got knocked out, along with our structure.

He didn't seem to be at his explosive best but today was not a day for that either

None of our outside backs got any decent service aside from Richards in the opening 6 minutes.

Apart from Tedesco none of the backs had or made any opportunities. So if you are going to remark about Lawrence being lacklustre, line em all up.

He just depresses me the way he has "developed" Used to be a lanky, frightfully quick player that could change direction and accelerate. Now he is a stocky guy, that runs in straight lines and has bad hands. Dear me.

Granted he has had some very bad luck with injuries, however how long do you use it an excuse for a guy who has lost his mojo. I was encouraged to here he would be slimming down to try and gain back his pace. Let's see what happens, i hope he turns it around but im not holding my breath.

Lawrence made a living off straight line power running and speed. It's no surprise that when he lost speed he lost effectiveness. It was his only attribute really. For a while he had a decent combo with Tuqiri but even then he threw Lote plenty of howlers. He's not a great ball player and now that he's lost pace he's also lost the ability to bust the line and keep balance.

I have said it before Lawrence's career ended when he did his hip , nothing is going to change that these things happen and I,m sure he realises this .

I thought Lawrence played well today with limited opportunities. He made 27 tackles without missing any. He didn't get much chance in attack but didn't do anything wrong and if Patterson stopped throwing balls forward he would have had something top run onto. I agree his last 2 years were poor driven by injury but today was a solid start to the season.

Just because we loose in the last 15 minutes of a game doesen't mean every single player was horrible and deserves to be dropped
