FIVE WESTS TIGERS PLAYERS CHOSEN IN REP TEAMS

Wests Tigers have had five players chosen in two teams for next weekend's representative fixtures.

Five-eighth Benji Marshall has been named New Zealand captain for the VB Test match against New Zealand at AAMI Park, Melbourne, on Friday, May 7.

Marshall not only takes on the Kangaroos but also his Wests Tigers Coach in Australian coach Tim Sheens.

The City Origin team has seen Wests Tigers centre Chris Lawrence, prop Bryce Gibbs, hooker Robbie Farah, and prop Keith Galloway chosen to play Country Origin at the Regional Stadium, Port Macquarie, on Friday, May 7.

Farah has also been named captain.

Galloway will represent City Origin for the first time. Lawrence, Farah and Gibbs have previously represented City Origin.

Wests Tigers congratulate its players on being chosen in their respective teams.

That city team does not even compare to the country side. Im not refering to the Tigers players but when you look at the Country team it is better in neally every part of the feild and in particular the halves and bench. Although I will be going for City I think they may get hammered.

I think City will hold their own against Country to be honest, they've got size and speed across the park. Good test for Galloway and Gibbs to lay a platform early.
