Golden, we are just a crap side with no direction on the field and, it seems, bugger all of it as well. You can pin point every game the exact moment when 3/4 of the side gives up.

Get them the wrong day and we certainly are, remember Smith wasnt there when we got them…BTW I am agreeing with you that the effort was gutless in defence but we are not a good enough side to tank a game of footy against quality opposition like the Roosters.

Hey Golden it's just been a bloody tough year for so many reasons - possibly our worst ever. I don't think the guys tanked the game. The fact that they were only down by 8, after 40 minutes, to the benchmark team in the comp was quite a surprise to me, tbh.

I know they fell apart badly in the second half, but there has just been so much disruption through injury (I don't think there has been 1 week this season where we haven't had someone go down or pull out before a match), so many young guys playing their first full year and so much negativity with the Benji saga and media BS regarding Potter and the club - I think any team would find it difficult to concentrate and compete for the full 80 under these extenuating circumstances. Let's just forget this year if we can and look at it as a watershed - next year will be better, hang in there, mate.

Imagine if the Roosters played the first half like they played the second half 😱pen_mouth: They only had a 66% completion rate first half and lost the penalty count about 11-7

and this is the kind of post I am talking about where should be posted if you don't agree with someone else on here, mature with reason thought, and no personal attack at all.

yes ok they had a go for the first 30 mins but the moment they gave away that penalty just before half time, that was in 36 points in 20 mins is just unheard of in first grade, that team we have should not be that bad. and the roosters ARE NOT that good!

and I can't blame it on injury this year, every team has had injuries. panthers have had a hell of a lot of injuries and they are where we SHOULD be a bottom 8 to 10 team

the team has no heart no guts, they are clearly tanking to make Potter resign so we don't have to pay him

they don't care so why should us fans care?? they might as well not turn up the rest of the year save the embossment of the F and A and us fans

The Conspiracy Theorists are out again!!!! Smoking Gun isn't your twin is he? What makes you think that if the team throws games , Potter would resign, He's already stated that he will be coaching W/T next season so guess what , if he's not coaching we will still have to pay him .

Apart from that, at the moment we just have too many people who shouldn't be out there, and probably won't be there next year .So why not talk sense and drop the rubbish and just support the ones that are having a go . You might get taken more seriously if you do. Then again you may not.

Judging by the way our blokes played in the first half I thought they were having a go in the main. Sure it could have been better but they were at least sticking with the rorters. The second half was totally unacceptable but that was a combination of many things which everyone is aware of so no need to bore people.
