Cleary shoulder charge?

Turned the game off after it became obvious that the result was pre-determined by the ref but was there any mention post-game of Cleary in the 19th or so minute mark hit Joseph Manu in the head with his shoulder? The contact wasn't too forceful but it resulted in Manu going off for a HIA a few minutes later. There was absolutely no attempt to wrap the arms, it was as good of a 'shoulder charge' as what Douiehi got suspended for at the end of last season. And with the pedantic crackdown on contact with the head surely golden-child Nath should have a case to answer IMO.

Yeah Trent Robinson was drawing the comparison between that incident and the one that resulted in Taukeiaho getting 10 in the bin later in the match in his press conference (the Taukeiaho hit ironically being on Cleary...)

So now games are being pre-determined AGAINST the Roosters. The world’s gone mad.

When they are up against Penrith or Souths this year, you betcha. Fix is on for the Penrith 'fairytale', it's their turn this year. Get your cash on them.

I reckon the 2005 Premiership was the only one not pre-determined in the history of Rugby League..

I always liked Sterlo’s take on it. He liked it because no one saw it coming.

Just like the 2014 souths one

Absolutely spot on. And the Dragons 2010: those 2 were absolute gifts from NRL HQ.
Roosters 2013 was up there too. And the "6 more tackles, whoops sorry last tackle" debacle of 2019 ranks as well.

So Cleary has slipped through the judiciary net? Haven't heard of him being charged. What a joke......heaven help any of our blokes tonight if they do the same thing.

He got 2 head knocks, and wasn't required to do a HIA for either, even though one of the players was sin binned

Yep. Yet there are plenty of muppets who have their heads buried up their clacker and refuse to acknowledge that there are rules for some and different rules for others when it comes to the shonky NRL. It's laughable TBH.

Annesley and his empire have been a disgrace for a long time

As Happy would say
The game has tuned to ?

To many changes not for the better
To much bias toward certain teams
Salary cap doesn't work
Inconsistent charges against players
Inconsistent decisions during the games
I am struggling to keep interested
