Had a great game, hard to think of a player who played better. That said it needs to be taken off the Australian selectors and decided by the refs or some neutral group of former players, as in the past it has ALWAYS gone to an Australian and someone in the national team fold, even when a lesser player has deserved it more.

The only other option I can think of would be Maloney. However Cherry will feature for Australia in the World Cup and Maloney won't.

I like DCE too, but no way he was the best on field tonight. Maloney definitely should've won it.

SBW shoulda gotten it. Everyone here hates him for some unknown reason. Probably cause he's amazing and they don't like Ch 9 fawning over him.

Maloney topping the errors as well as try assists. And his kick for jennings was a poor one, lucky for him it was a try assist. If jennings wasn't there it woulda been a 20m restart….

thought DCE was outstanding in a losing side, SBW and Maloney made a lot of mistakes early and were strong later. I can see where they were coming from with the selection

Maloney was ordinary early on, and two try assists came from ordinary kicks made good by his outside backs. DCE was the best in a beaten team, though I admit Sonny Bill was my tip, and Moa was a smokey.

I thought DCE was probably the best on field. SBW was outstanding for 30 minutes of the second half but was very ordinary for the first 40\. I thought Moa was also outstanding when on the field and Watmough not far behind.
