Didn't Utai and Simona get a call up for Fiji. Not sure whether they played? Anyone got any other info?

They did but the tour was cancelled last minute Tonga was the country

Its all good King.
John Grant has represented Australia in Sevens Rugby so theres another international to add to the list.

Also Woods, Miller and Groat are Australian Schoolboys and BMM represented the Junior Kiwis just the other week, so plenty of up and comers too.

We had lots of lean years from the early 90's. Lack of talent wont be the problem for the next few years, but we all know it takes more than talent. All in all though, things are looking good for 2012/13.

Utai has four NZ caps, from which he has scored two tries - you can add that notch in the team belt as well.

Hi fellow posters, this is my first post so I hope its accurate.

Back in 1989 Balmain had:
Jack
Andy Currier (was a pom, I don't know if he was an international or not though)
Freeman
Pearce
Sironen
McGuire
Elias
Roach

Brasher became an international in later years

They also had James Grant, Australian rep from union and Shaun Edwards from England in that team. Ross Conlon was another international that played with Balmain having represented inn1984.

Yeah just checked the thread Awesome is right it was Samoa Sorry

Cheers happy. Wasn't too sure just remember their names being tossed up. Good to see Simona getting some recognition at his age. Sorry for getting the country wrong earlier.

Yes we have a team of champions

But when will they become a champion team ??

When this happens, it will be time to celebrate. The last game at the end of last season should place some doubt on whether we are improving.

Even with that team they failed to win a comp. Just goes to show how hard it is to get the bickies….

It really is an absolutely awesome team on paper….cap must be stretched to the max.
Pressure will come with the expectations, but if injuries give us a break then we'll be
in the mix again at the right time

maybe in 2012 for wests-tigers this team of champions will be the champion team.
can't wait to get strapped in for the rollercoaster ride again.
bring it on.

Yeah aint that the truth….you suck Warren Ryan!

Taking blocker off was wrong, but few have understood the game better than Mr Ryan.

There has been worse.

That horrible excuse for a human Alan Jones being one
