There could be some big moves coming in the next five days.

The NRL’s new contracting system is putting teams under the pump to get their top-30 squads finalised by the June 30 deadline. Manly is one team that are unhappy with the current rules, after their application to upgrade young hooker Manase Fainu for out-of-favour five-eighth Jackson Hastings their first-grade squad was denied. The Sea Eagles and the Bulldogs are expected to be the busiest teams this week as they look to unload salary following disappointing 2018 campaigns. Forward Shaun Lane has already signed with the Eels, and rival teams are keeping an eye on the availability of front-rower Martin Taupau. There were rumours last week of a potential Taupau for Parramatta five-eighth Corey Norman swap, although they were quickly shut down. The Bulldogs also have big decisions to make, and none greater than what they do with prop Aaron Woods. The Sharks are keen on the 27-year old, as well as Canterbury centre Josh Morris, but the Bulldogs have placed hefty price tags on both players.
Woods will travel with the team to face the Knights in Newcastle this week despite the uncertainty surrounding his future. And despite the new system being implemented to cause less chaos, a lot of movement could happy between now and Saturday.

Well - now that we've resigned Farah, what about Taupau? And Woods??

For me Taupau would be a yes, depending on the cost of course. As for Woods - I'd say miss me on that one! Let him go to the Sharks.

Should clarify - I am talking 2019 not before as we have no spots left. Unless of course we were to offload someone in a swap plus $$ type deal.

If you believe the rumour doing the rounds on social media (I don't believe it) then Woods will be back here next season.

Where can this "rumour" be found?

Well bringing back ex players seems to be high on the priority list and we need more cover up front. I can Cleary wanting Woods back.

With all these ex-players returning to Wests Tigers I would say that the West Tigers future rally song be "I still call Wests Tigers home." Played of course to the music of "I still call Australia home."

Apparently Woods over the line at the Sharks, rumour I heard was announcement to be made Wednesday, doesn't make much sense as you'd want to announce it Tuesday to get him on the card for next weekend I'd have thought.

Woods has signed with Sharks, announcement shortly

For rest of this year or 2019?

My understanding is this year and 2 year deal after … that’s from someone at Dogs staff... also Foran Ruled out for season

As Flippedy once famously called

"We're putting the band back together "

No chance of winning the premiership

Maybe they see the spoon as the next best thing

As much as it would be great to see the dog's get the spoon I'd like to see Woods there to win it with them

If not hopefully it goes to parra and the slimy moses

Was on twitter yesterday, can't remember who posted it though.

They've had 3 forwards ruled out today in Lewis, Williams and Graham. So they'd want to announce it tomorrow if it's happening as they'll be pretty light for this round.
