they are not looking at the world through rose coloured glasses… as much as it hurts the reality is our season is over... and it's good to hear they implied it's time players need to be moved on...

And after 10 weeks next Year in a similar position I'll look forward to more Q & A reality…

Geez mate this is actually a good initiative. The fact that they are continually recruiting heavily and also the fact they said its a business IE were not keeping plodders like naqaima and grant and the rest is great news.
Do you honestly believe even if we made the top 8 wed win anything? Cronulla and storm are so far ahead of its not funny.

OK..just give up cause other teams are better…always next year..got it..

Happy tiger much.

I'm impressed. Doubt many clubs have posted that sort of video addressing their supporters. Cleary is unintentionally hilarious. He has an awkward dryness about him. I like how Pascoe at times played the interviewer too.

And yes, we can put the all the calls to sign Hoppa to bed

Hmm one thing I would like thohgh is too ask better questions. If uninformed supporters ask questions like individual recruitment then were not going to learn anythimg. Amazed about hoppa. But the fact we already got tui negates that fullback question. Can the supporters somehow put a vote on what questions to ask?

Questions like 'Why is ET the only player who slows the ruck down and what are we doing to improve this area?' , 'Why are we consistently putting smaller forwards in our side to face bigger packs like raiders and the sharks?'

Would just like them to know we would like transparency on selection policy..

Cleary is likeable. I reckon anyone would like him. He is certainly revered here. I wonder if everyone here will still be liking him 2 years from now?

Fans are fickle creatures. lol

I don't think they haven given up on this year, but at the same time we have realistic with the cattle we have. Line us up against any top 8 team and we don't measure up, then throw in injuries to our 17 and it just gets worse because our severe lack of depth.

The club is just answering the questions which just look at our forum and is all focused on recruitment for 2018.

More talk blaaaaah

All I got out of it is they have given up on 2017…which as a supporter is very disappointing.....

Not necessarily re Tui negating the fullback question. If by some miracle Lattrel Mitchell was behind the Roosters reference then he would play fullback and Tui could slot into the centres. If we signed Gordon though, he'd get pushed out to the wing. Their demeanour told me they seem pretty confident about picking up some handy outside backs, if they haven't already and just aren't in a position to disclose the information yet.

Whos giving up? I want this team to perform every week. We need to improve first before you start having delusions of grandeur. Our defence has more holes in it then swiss cheese. Our attack has been ordinary in alot of facets as well.We make the warriors look consistent for peaks sake. To top it off our brand of football is actually quite boring to watch.

So forgive me if i have one eye on the future… While the other watches this year to see improvement.

What's to forgive…We are on the same page with this Year...for me it's about now...Dogs are similar to us and have no hope of winning this year but all you hear from their Management Coach and senior player is it's about 2017 ..a winning culture even of you lose...

BTW it is good to get some clarity of direction but this is not new...Taylor did these Q & A's last year and the year before even addressing Members 'LIVE'...We have even as far back as Sheens answer questions on previous versions of this very forum...

Gee that was interesting when Pascoe said do you know any goalkickers at the Roosters with a very smug smile. There has to be something in that. It was very deliberate.

Wouldnt know where to start if i had to ask sheens a question. ?. He was frustrating thst man.

Mate Id like to start winning. But its how we win thats the key. Defence. I just want to have a bit of faith in this side defending for long periods without and lacklustre effirts. The cowboys game was a prime example of what I want too see. Our attack has been ordinary since round 1 honestly. Moses has caused alot of the problems. Teddy isnt far behind.

Interesting comments regarding a potential at the Roosters as there seemed to be more to the story just reading the body language.

Was impressed that it wasn't edited together and didn't seem scripted.

Can see why the Warriors and Panthers fans speak highly of Cleary even without delivering a premiership.

Also liked that they are looking at bringing the right attitudes to the club as that has been an issue for us for awhile now.

Yeah that's right. He asked if he knew any good goal kickers from the roosters in the 90's meaning Cleary from the 1990's and Cleary totally missed it and thought he meant someone today kicking at 90%. He then eluded to being close to a player that kicks at roughly 90% (meaning his son) but unfortunately is under contract for another couple of years, all said with a big smile which I wishfully took to mean, in a couple of years I'm sure we will see Nathan wearing black, gold and white.

so cleary was talking about 90% kickers and that he knew one quite well (nathan cleary). Wonder why Pascoe referenced the roosters? Gordan hasnt been kicking well at all until 2-3 weeks ago… Hmmm

Pascoe said Roosters then Cleary tried to play it down and said he only knows 2 players who kick in the 90's and he's close to one of then but he isnt off contract (meaning Nathan). My impression was Pascoe was hinting at Gordon.

Michael Gordon made his debut in 2006\. I thought pascoe was referring to Ivan…

90'S as in goalkicking percentage. Not as in 1990's.

Haha lolk at us. I feel like weve just watched a game of thrones trailer and now are overannalyzing it 😂😂
