Got a reprieve with me with yesterday's news, but seeing what he has done tonight its back to square one. Benji really has no idea

Mate, I beg to differ.

He hooked Terrell and brought on Haywood and it saved us losing by 60.

He isn't getting all of them right, but he is willing to die trying... And I appreciate that.

Something has to give in the halves next week though.. latu vs Galvin would be great

Very happy he hooked Terrell. But his decisions on who should be our halves have ruined our season.

Preseason IMO. I have said all along even when we were 5 from 7 that AD and Luai are a terrible combination and AD is a terrible halfback.

Doueihi should have prepped all offseason for 13, Madden fills in early until Latu came back from injury.

His thought process that 2 sideways players with no kicking games and no ability to condense the opposition middle was the best answer was a death sentence. I hate that I was right, but I was. Styles makes fights, and 2 sideways running halves lose every fight. Its common sense. No coach would be so stupid to commit to these 2 as our halves. Except our coach of course.

I dont think he will change it. The change was there today with Toa's injury and he didnt look at it.

Wished he hooked Luai but can understand why he didn’t. Down 3 men (Starford and Sam groins than Sione HIA) it’s the right call but it’s hard to realise in that moment

He’s so far out of his depth and always has been.

This is as balanced as I can be on the night our season ends.

Some of the basics seem better the longer benji coaches, BUT everything we do Is half a yard slower than a good team.
Line speed, sliding in defence, getting the ball to the edge with block plays etc....

Looks like a team learning how to play in first grade, sad.

Yes we have injuries, but the bench and squad management seems to be based on whoever the coach has a good chat with rather than anything one can observebon the field.

I hear the reasons not to go all in on Latu and Andrews but then I wonder how we could actually go backwards? We've gone from 2nd to forgotten, with multiple floggings, in about 3 months. I think the extension doesn't mean much, he will be desperate for results and will start taking risks like this. If some of the boys want to save him (loyal to the coach, not the club) then I suggest they do it in the next 12 months. It's likely he will never coach again if he fails to get us in the 8, or god forbid, we get another spoon.

Top coaches don’t need to hook players because they know what’s expected of them. You rarely see Bellamy hook anyone.

Benji’s only quality is that the players like him. He has no ability to have a game plan.

It’s a shame we didn’t have Madge with this roster, I’ve no doubt we’d have been playing finals. Maybe it would have been short term but I’ll take that over failing every year.

No argument from me in regards to that but as always we have the same people in the back pulling the levers and making the poor decisions and completely untouchable.I certainly don't blame Benji for all of it especially the areas he has zero influence in (board level)

Oh yer it’s the boards fault that Terrel is playing like crap, worse than woods ever played. Benji has been able to pick everyone he wanted players and coaching staff. The boys club no experienced coaches just his mates that won’t speak up.
But that’s the boards fault is it????
