We finally get some good news, Bunji tells us what’s going on and they are ready to go and peeps are whining about contracts and the like.

Whinge whinge whinge and hopefully get it out of yer system.

I for one am 100% behind Bunji and the lads and if this keeps them all together and happy it’s a brilliant move in between some shockers.

I’m not worried about the payout ..it’s just pokies money… they aren’t going to spend it on the club otherwise

I think adding 1 extra year would have been enough

But I think Benji would have pushed for the extras just in case he gets pushed out the door at least he gets a good payout


And now nobody can say the football team is not stable for the next few years

You could understand having to be called out to front the media in the circumstances is not an easy task. But, he did well and also our new interim/soon to be permanent CEO handled himself well.

People talking about Benji's record and fair enough but when he started 2 years ago he did not have a very good roster at all and a lot of res graders playing. Last year we added some good pieces, and his record has improved.

He has what a lot of coaches don't have and it's the most important factor - Players buy in..
he is a player's coach and has brough a lot of Wayne Bennett style with him.

It will be hard to recruit for next year now but if we have a good year next year with no Management problems we will be fine.

I think Benji will get a two year bonus for winning the next 4 GF’s.

Not spoons because if he wins the next 3 I can guarantee he will get his two years bonuses
