Coach scapegoat

I hope if Taylor is shown door he is able to unload and tell truth. After all the coaches we have blamed for our issues its time . these are professional footballers a coach does not cause a 60 point spread . I have no inside info but I do not blame Taylor for most of issues and I wonder wat type of coach will put his hand up next to help us ruin his career

Ohh please, he kept on picking the same blokes who missed tackles, dropped the ball, gave away penalties, didn't follow his supposed game plan every week, he deserves to be sacked and I hope the club has the balls to do it now.

There is a reason his previous 2 clubs have sacked him as head coach i wonder what it could be?

That was one of the most disgusting stitch up i have seen as a Wests Tigers supporter in 16 years…..

When players just step to one side and let the opposition score you know they ran dead no question....pathetic...No pride in the jersey or pride in personal performance apart from a few...it's so obvious...

The Coach must go no doubt but anyone thinking that is the solution live in the land of unicorns and fairies...unless quite a few go with him....

Geez heard that before "coach keeps picking same players ". Sheens potter. Now Taylor. I've never coaches 1st grade team. Is there a reason they do it at Tigers ???
I'm no Taylor fan but think bout it
He was sacked at Souths club that was a mess like Tigers Souths had sacked couple coaches ?? Oh we forgot that Easy blame coaches
Tigers as organisation are 2nd rate not just coaches. Let's see hey !!!

Sacking the coach is a start. He hasn't been up to it at all and he handled himself with a complete lack of class since he got here.

I agree , thats definitely the place to start. There are a few other pieces to the puzzle but that's a very big one.
In every sport the world over, the buck stops with the head coach. Like it or not, it's the nature of the beast.
In saying that, there are a few players that need to be moved on aswell. The club must also get alot smarter about signing players on too much money for too long. That way clean outs are so much easier to put into action when needed.

Since he was interviewed and agreed for the job what has gone wrong ? Has he forgotten how to coach or our organisation and players not up to it

It was the wrong decision from the start. You could tell when he started going on about structures and he would only talk about defence. He topped it all off by stating how poor the club was before he got here. The team then performed consistently like they had no game plan and we came 2nd last. This year is just a follow-up of the same stuff that was dished up last year. He has improved this year but I think it's too late. He stuffed up the off-season with all the Farah drama.

Who are these " a few players " to which you refer?

I will name some, ( my opinion only ): Farah, Milone, Halatau, Lovett, Sue, Buchanan. There are some in reserve grade that should be gone, but as I am not up on that grade ( no television so far this year. But hey, what's new?)

I am not sure about our halves. I believe that if they were playing behind a decent pack of forwards, they would be dynamite. But where do we get these " decent forwards "?

Taylor should be given the rest of the year. No improvement, goodbye.

Would a caretaker coach help? Who knows.

Col I agreed right up to keeping Taylor, we need a new coach and captain, one like James Graham, he inspires and demands respect, our players really need a leader like him. As for a coach appoint an interim one if you can not get the right one now, but we need a new one

We need a new board as well , they were the tools that appointed the Scarecrow and they were the ones that gave Mr Pasty face permission to try and move Farah on ….
What a depressing way to enjoy a Sunday hey !

It was a really poor decision. Firstly Robbie can still play well for us. Secondly since we are overpaying him he can't go anywhere.

Farah should be gone at the end of his contract. He should be used up to that point as well as we can use him.
